I just got a pair of Etoupe Jumping boots! I was surprised to find out that they were quite loose on me on my calves...I have just as much room as the girl on the pic(the one jumping up!), but with jeans inside, they're a little better.

I thought they were supposed to be tight fitting?

Love them, now I want either the black or the brown pair! Ugh!

Congrats on your new boots you will love them. This is just an FYI etoupe boots are made of a different leather then the Black or Brown so be careful, I have both etoupe much more room in the calf area as the leather is much softer. My black ones are a stiffer leather and more tight around the calf area

Now I have more of a reason to get the black or the brown pair! They're so different, right!?

I was wondering if anyone knows if I could get one with the lower shaft or the Asian version of this boot. I'm located in the US. I've requested for an international search in my size, but my SA said it wouldn't be possible to transfer one in from Japan or elsewhere and US wouldn't carry them. Here I am, back to square one.

I know this is a longshot, but maybe try the H in Hawaii? I recall from my Bottega days, Hawaii was the only US store that carried the smaller Cabat made specially for the Asian market. Also, I've noticed with these boots (as well as my real riding boots) that with use, the shaft sort of softens and settles a bit around the ankles, and the top of the boot hits a bit lower on the leg. But I'm not sure if that happens if the boots are really loose on your leg...I've never had that problem :D
