Just bought a pair in black and the shoe cobbler was hesitant to stretch them in the calf for me as I needed an inch. I begged and pleaded (since i'm in the hole for $3k) so he said he would try but no guarantees. Anyone out there try this with success? I guess I'll find out next Wednesday when I pick them up... and yes, he was shaking his head wondering why I bought the boots in the first place.
Have him stretch it as far as he feels comfortable (my cobbler doesn't tell me how much he can stretch in inches, just "less, medium or lots"
), and you might just find that they fit without going as far as an inch. Don't feel bad...I bought not one but two pairs of Jumping boots that were I found were too tight in the calf after having them shipped to me. After stretching them at the cobbler and also spending many nights watching tv on the bed, slowly wiggling these boots onto my legs, they both have stretched out enough to get on and off easily. Good luck! They are fabulous boots that make your legs look incredibly slim. I'm trying desperately to refrain from buying an Etoupe pair :sweat drop:

Not at all the more the merrier these are so beautiful if I must say. The etoupe are made of a soft leather more like swift, my black pair are a totally different leather

I take my exact size in these boots, and I have several pairs from different years and they seem pretty consistant~
I saw a pair in etoupe recently and fell in love at first sight. It was selling out like hot cakes though. I checked out it later and it was gone! It is such a beauty no one can resist. Lucky uuuuuuuuu
Maybe this "batch" of jumping boots sizes differently that prior seasons because I also had to go down a half size and I always wear a true 37 in H shoes. Strange, isn't it? I think mine were $2200 - $2300 USD?
To give you a sense of how etoupe looks in these boots, compare the color to the ombre bracelets. Also, the Kelly Dog on top is etain. I compared it to my etoupe Toolbox and it is slightly different in tone.
