Does anyone have an email or contact number for Hermes Madison Ave repair? I dropped my bag off for spa 5 mnths ago and havent received a quote yet and cant seem to reach anyone.

Does anyone know how to clean the canvas inside of the Garden Party bag or if the spa would clean the inside and get rid of some of the stains? I had the bag stored in the box for 4 or 5 years now and just took it out and the handles were sticky but I think it had to do with the humidity but I kept it out for a week and the handles are fine now. I would like to have the inside cleaned if possible.

Unfortunately spa still doesn't touch the interior of bags.

Hi Friends! I've recently just purchased a 'new to me' Bolide 31 in Vert Bosphore from 2003 and it has some wear to the glazing along the zip. I don't have any experience with the Hermes Spa Service, so I'm wondering, is this something they would possibly repair at the spa, and if so, what sort of cost would I maybe be looking at? I'm not too bothered by the wear to be honest, but if it's affordable and worthwhile, it would be nice to have her touched up. She also has a tiny scuff on the base, but nothing dramatic. Any help or advice would be so appreciated 🥰🤗💖

Hello,
We've all heard about H will not spa or repair 3rd party spa bag. Is this actually true? Many vintage or 2nd hand bags, especially from Asia, has minor spa touch up done, and as far as I know most of the time H spa still takes them in. If you were ever rejected by H spa because of 3rd party spa, can you please share your experiences? Can they tell you this in store or bag has to be sent to France to be assessed and then rejected?
I've seen many beautiful vintage bag where seller can't even always confirm if 3rd party spa was done. And I'm always hesitant but wondering if it is really a problem.
Thabks in advance.

It is true. It’s right on the receipt when you drop off your item for repair. I’m sure some bags slip through and get serviced, but H also declines to work on them. Friend purchased a vintage bag and dropped it off at Madison Ave. It was accepted and then received an email to come pick it up. Nothing was done to it and it was explained that the craftsperson would not work on it as someone other than H had previously. It’s part of the risk of buying used.

Basic spa is about $400 and it includes cleaning, conditioning and reglazing.

Dropped off my a few bags today for service, a K32 in Togo for scuff repairs, a Plume 28 in Box that needs so much love coz it’s been very very well used. And wanted to follow up on a Bolide in Peau de Porc that just needed some conditioning and touch up that was dropped off a month ago.

Was told that the Bolide PdP had to be sent to Paris, and the Box Plume
will also be sent there. I wasn’t even told when dropping off the Bolide that it was necessary.

I live in Hong Kong where Hermes has quite a big presence so I thought things can be done locally but seems now that heritage leathers will be sent to HQ.

Anyway, quite surprised!

Is this the case for your country too?

Hello! I'm glad to be here 😇
I have Hermès Marwari GM Clemence bag.
This bag has local scratches, I want to take it to Spa. Do they still take this kind of bag for restoration?
Please tell me if it is worth taking it to Hermès, or approximately how much it might cost?🙏

Quick question..So I just purchased a new to me 2020 Jypsiere 28 Gold with palladium hardware in excellent condition with the box, dustbag, raincoat and care booklet through one of the online sellers that are reputable. I noticed that there was a very small stitch on the interior flap that came loose. Being my first time buying preowned, I was still skeptical even though the site authenticated it themselves. So Iwanted it fixed and went to the Hermes store at the after sales section where an associate said they can repair it locally and do not have to send it out. She took it to the back to the artisan to look at it and maybe 5 minutes later she said the artisan looked at it and fixed it on the spot!! There was no estimate. Do you think that validates that my bag is in deed authentic even though the artisan had the bag in the back for only 5 minutes??? Is it that quick to authenticate??

Pretty sure you're ok! You're also very lucky that you didn't have to wait six months (or even six minutes from the sounds of it  )!!
