Hi, may I ask if you know what is the estimated cost and the time required for repair? Thank you.
you may ask -
the cost if dealt with by spa would only a few hundred (choose you denominations)
but depending on where you take it, it might be done there on the spot, free and gratis whilst it is being examined
if there is an in-house artisan
if taken in and possibly sent away five/six weeks
there are so many variables, your questions are not really possible to answer with authority
you have to take it in - it could be refused because the wear is not considered advanced enough yet

The toile and leather bag I brought in for cleaning a few weeks back was quoted 10-12 weeks (when I dropped it off they said they did not think it would take more than two weeks ). That's one of the longer time quotes I have received for cleaning in France. 270€. FWIW there was also a note that they will not polish the leather handles for fear of staining the owner's hands.

I still have several bags awaiting quotes (spring cleaning!).

My apologies if this is asked and answered, I can't find it. Is it true that Hermes now asks for a proof of purchase before they will accept a bag to spa? Or as long as it is authentic, will they spa it? TIA!

I recently bought a light coloured croc B25 and somehow I prefer not to use any twillies for this bag. What are my options should the handles darken with use? What can H spa do if the handles are darkened? Thanks.
