I think I'm about 100th in line. I am wearing white striped pants with grey hair. I'm reading A red book ( go set a watchmen by Harper lee ) .

It's crazy!
So here is my Hermes sale update #1:

I got to the convention center at 6am, 3 hours before the sale and there are already 100 people who are mostly tourists from Asia in front of me - I am Asian too but Asian American . People must have been lining up since 4am. For every 20 tourist there is 1 French nationale waiting in line.

We were also waiting in almost complete darkness for awhile but they just turned on the lights .

My Mom's Feet were hurting really bad and wanted to meet me up at 8am but I feel some hostility all around me about holding spots so I told her to please arrive ASAP and she could sit on the floor to rest and I would beg those around me to be allow my mom to join me

People definitely start lining up between 3-4am! On some years I've seen people bring pillows. Wise to get your mom to join you quickly; people definitely flip out over line joiners and treat them as cutters (which, if we're talking about 3-4 new people instead of just someone's mom, I agree with). However, once she's established her spot with you in line, you can give each other breaks to run to the bathroom or to go downstairs for coffee. No one minds that part.

Good luck-- looking forward to hearing reports. I'm planning to go myself later this afternoon and tomorrow morning.

It seems a bit less crowded than in January though still a good turnout. Fingers tightly crossed for a men's clic clac, they had ladies clics in January but no men's. Have heard they don't have jewellery in every sale so we shall see.

Doing pretty well it is a bit less crowded than in January. Similar assortment to what they had then except no jewellery this time but belts instead. I have so far found 10 ties, 10 silk scarves (90 cm) and a pair of shoes (driving loafers in Hermes red!). I'm selling all the scarves on to work colleagues so haven't done too much damage to my bank account. Now in the queue for cashmere and silk scarves hoping to find something good. They have the usual assortment of RTW and homewares. I met a lovely lady in the queue who knew my posts from this forum! Good luck everyone!
