I emailed Hermes in Paris, and they said they still do not know the dates for the sale...and probably will confirm End of November.....
Was hoping to know a bit sooner.....oh well

I called Hermès a while back and they said they wouldn't "know" the date until late May (more accurately, they won't release it until then--given the size of the sale they doubtless have booked out space in the Palais des Congres already and know when the sale will be). The official sale period in France starts this year on 28 June so that is a possible first date of the sale, however a friend of mine did some detective work on the Palais des Congres website and she says there is a gap on their programming from the following Wednesday (5 July). My guess is the sale will run 5-7 July but nothing is confirmed yet.

Yup she is a shopping pro! I think my detective friend feels confident enough in 5 July to book (changeable) tics to Paris already but I am holding off on booking until the date is confirmed.

Hello to everyone,

I have decided to go to my first Hermes sale this July. Could anyone who has been there tell me whether you are able to try one shoes, hats, jewelry etc. or do you need to know your exact size? Just in case I might get lucky and they would be offering bracelects (clic and clic clac), I would not know which size and model would fit my arm best.
