Usually, it's two years back, so s/s 15 is the catalogue to study. However, I scored a teal/orange colorway of dans un jardin anglais in the Jan sale. The only had that one colour though.

Hello to everyone,

I have decided to go to my first Hermes sale this July. Could anyone who has been there tell me whether you are able to try one shoes, hats, jewelry etc. or do you need to know your exact size? Just in case I might get lucky and they would be offering bracelects (clic and clic clac), I would not know which size and model would fit my arm best.

Thanks and with kind regards
Nadine

You can try shoes, hats and rtw no stress because the time is not limited in those areas.
The scarf area you get a limited time and it can be overwhelming.
My advice for the bracelets is perhaps visit a store before and try on the possible models you would like to buy so you know your size in case they have them at the sale.

Yes, I agree. Bracelets are organized by size in buckets, but there are usually only bracelets in Jan. The July sale usually has belts. But no guarantees.

I wouldn't get hopes up on the clic clac-- normally they have jewellery in January but not June/July (they have belts instead). On the plus side there is no problem with trying on the shoes first.

This might sound like a very silly question - has anyone been to the sale on the last day? it looks like that is the only date I can make for July! :( Not sure if it's even worth going, although Summer in Paris doesn't sound like a bad idea in any case!

Dear Sycomore, qtpik8 and David Fincher,
thank you so much for your replies and helpful advice. Even though chances for bracelets are slim, I have decided to go and booked my tickets .... I read somewhere that the summer sale is not as crazy as the winter sale - so as a newbie it might be a good opportunity to get acquainted to it.

Is anyone else going? I read that some of you guys met up for queuing in January, which sounds like a nice idea to spend the waiting time.
