Madison has more inventory in general being a flagship location so you can be offered more bags just because of the inventory however it really depends on your relationship with an sa and your spend in the store. I’ve heard people varying stories about being offered bags at other stores like MP and Wall more easily than Madison and also vice versa. It really is relationship dependent and what’s available when you go in.
I would think offers for anything bigger than a size 25 you would get a higher chance at Madison. Anything sz 25 and smaller will be just as hard anywhere. Just my thoughts.

For some reason, there were a couple of times when I walked into the store and saw plenty of other girls being offered bags this year. Strangely it has always been Kellys. Never saw any Birkins being offered. I wonder if Madison is just getting a lot of shipments of Kellys this year. Hah hah. Could have just been a coincidence.
I was offered a b30 in December and like the comment above I think the smaller bags are just harder to come by cuz of the popularity.

I agree with this based on my personal experience at least. When I told the SA I wanted a size 28 kelly gold HW, she immediately said "we don't have small sizes: no 25s or 28." Then she said 'how about palladium HW?" I told her I want gold only. Then she paused and said: "I have a Kelly with gold HW - how about in 32?" I took it after she let me try on a black 32 just for sizing purposes. She was pretty direct in saying that they had no smaller sizes when I was there which was approx 3 weeks ago.

Looking for some advice! I am looking to start my journey towards getting a B or a K, hopefully for this year. I have previously shopped with Hermes, primarily from either Madison, online or Manhasset (which is closest to me out here on Long Island but which I know is its own thing) but have never really developed a relationship with an SA because my visits were always more spur of the moment. I bought my two beloved Evelynes at Madison (both birthday presents to myself), but have primarily been a scarf girl.

I am at a bit of an impasse on where I should concentrate building my relationship. During the pandemic, I switched from working in the city to working in Connecticut (remotely for now, but likely back in the office in the next few months. This has definitely thrown me for a loop since I am not basically always out of the city proper. If it weren't for the fact that I don't anticipate being in the city often, I am wondering if instead of trying to renew and build on my previous history at Madison (or try another city store) even though I don't have a strong established relationship with an SA if it would be a better idea to build a relationship at Greenwich, which is located near my new office, once I am back three days a week.

Any advice on if I would be either helping or hurting my chances moving towards Greenwich. Would it hurt to shop at both locations, based on where I am at the time?

I would highly recommend Greenwich as we find it to be a great boutique. We have had hit or miss experiences in NYC. Sometimes Madison SAs are great, others totally pretentious and stuffy. We find Greenwich to be much more laid back.

Hi! How hard is it to get offered a Kelly 20/25 in any color pink? I am dying to get offered one and sent my wishlist to my SA but I feel like with all the feedback on low inventory it may not happen for years! I have def spent almost 1:1 over the past few months but I even asked for a C18 and nothing. I'm debating if I should go the resell market but the prices are up 5-10% from even a couple months ago!

Hi it’s a new comer here.
I just moved to NYC and look forward to start building relationship with a SA. I came from a South East Asian country, where H stores often have limited stocks so my mom and I often just bought H items from trusted sellers in our country. I will be living in NYC for 1.5 years for work and I really want to have a chance to buy my bag from the store for the first time. My dream bag is K25/28 in etoupe or some sort of similar neutral colors. Do you think I have a chance in that short timeframe? Is 1:1 the expected ratio to start getting an offer for K25/28 from the SA? Appreciate if you guys can help x

Welcome! Yes of course as long as you establish a solid purchase history and relationship with an SA, you cna definitely get an offer. But know that inventory is very limited at the moment

I think its harder to get any K in 20/25 regardless of color because smaller bags are the trend now. I got offered a C18 today. I think it's probably easier to get a Constance. Which store do you go to?
