Meatpacking! I followed up and reminded my SA I was looking for a C18 but all they said was they would add it to my list and keep an eye out.
A C18 should not be too difficult to get as long as you’re open to colors and leathers. I would wait it out a little longer before going the reseller route.
I don’t think Constance’s are worth paying a markup for in the secondary market. As for K25, pinks are definitely around but in that size, well I’m not even sure 1:1 spend is enough especially if there are other clients spending way more and requesting those specs as well. A mini Kelly ii/K20 is super rare even for well-established clients.... probably the hardest bag to get ime.

Definitely no need to pay a markup for a C18! If it helps, my total customer lifetime in NY is 12 months. In a seven-month period, I received five C18 offers, from greens, blacks, pinks, whites, exotics, etc. Only kept getting them because I kept saying no. Took 7 months to receive my first pink bag offer (K28 S), but 12 months to receive my first pink bag offer that I accepted (B25 R.) Took nine months to get a Mini K. Total lifetime to date in NY, still no K25 Sellier (I'm never offered Retourne as I'm not interested, but I know they're around.) HTH!
During your total customer lifetime in NY, did your total purchase history ($$$) leading up to the bag offer = the cost of the bag you accepted?
Yes, for sure. Last year, Mar-Dec, I had a 7:1 non-quota bag total but took home two B25 and one MK2, and received regular C18 offers. This year, have a 4:1 non-Q-bag total and have taken home a C18 and B25. These were exact size, color, HW matches on my list, with the exception of the C18 as I had no Constance preference and was just waiting for one to fall in love with.
Some months LY, I spent about 2-3:1 before receiving a bag I accepted, some months had 0 spend but had that outstanding "bag spend" thus it would come regardless. I never followed up or asked about bags, would just let my SA know what was top of my list whenever she asked, or if she offered me something I didn't like, I'd tell her why I didn't like it and what I'd prefer instead. All the bags I ended up taking home were complete surprises. Hope that's helpful!
I am hoping for a b25 this year. My spending is approaching 2.5:1. Fingers crossed it happens this year.
I think 1:1 is certainly possible - it's just based on numerous factors when the bag arrives, such as whether your SA is working when a delivery comes in, the profiles of other clients who are also interested in that bag, how sales have been month to date, along with SM approval, and any other variables that come into play. I did receive my first ever B25 at just about 1:1
but it was a bright color and that probably helped!Thank you so so much for sharing your experience! With this kind of history you absolutely should be offered any bag you desire.
I feel the same. It would be so nice to get my first K from the store but I buy what I love and am on a budget! My B is from a third party and I love it just the same as my Evie TPM and other boutique items.
