Hi! Do you guys know if inventory on quota bags are still low and in less supply due to covid? I just sent my list wishlist and was wondering how long it may take to get an offer
I think it is still low. I stopped by last week to pick up some shoes and didn’t see anyone being offered anything. When I went last fall, I saw a bunch of girls trying on kelly bags. I guess maybe the store in general is quieter.

Hi! I have read through countless pages on this thread and thank everyone for sharing advice and opinions. I am hoping to start my Hermes journey but have a few questions and apologize if they are ignorant or naive. I have only purchased from the Wall Street store (near my office) ironically things for my husband and have not spent a significant amount. I know that I need to build my customer profile and strengthen my purchase history in order to obtain an offer to purchase my dream bag. My last purchase was a day or so before the shutdown in March. The SA who assisted me was very helpful and did give me her card and contact info. Since then, we relocated to Long Island and are near the Manhasset store and I have not returned to the office since March. My dream bag is a C18. My questions are:
1. Would you advise to reach out to the SA at the Wall Street store or should I make an appointment at Manhasset and hope to hit it off with an SA there? Am I more likely to wait longer for an offer at Manhasset? Wall Street would be a pain to go to frequently while WFH but once I return to the office, would be easier to visit frequently.
2. It seems the C18 is extremely popular right now. Should I expect the spend to be higher than 1:1? I want to have reasonable expectations.
Any other tips and suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. I am very excited to start this process and have done signifanct research on the brand. I hope my dream of a C18 isn’t too lofty.

Manhasset is a franchise store so your purchase history there wouldn’t show on Wall St. That being said, can’t hurt to reach out to the SA that helped you at Wall and then also go to the manhasset location and start building a relationship there as well.

On the c18, we were offered one just as walk-ins to Madison Ave. before they even looked up our profile. They aren’t that ultra-rare. Now though with the lockdowns in Europe, inventory seems to be getting low everywhere so there are no guarantees

Thank you for the response. Very helpful! I was hoping to concentrate spending at one, but I think it’s probably safer to share between the two. I really appreciate the advice!

Sorry got cut off! Last part of my question was do you think you can put right just ask your SA for a C if you have a decent spending history within a couple of months?
I think you can since it isn't a quota bag but recently stock seems to be low especially after Christmas. I have been waiting on a C18 espom noir ghw for a few months now but my SA said they just don't show up often recently. I believe her as she got me a Kelly Danse and Kelly Pochette which are even harder to get.

If you plan to become a regular customer at Manhasset you should absolutely go there. You don't need an appointment but you may have to wait (I always have an appointment and I usually have to wait anyway). there are lots of great SAs there, and most are very friendly. Cs are not that popular here so I think it would be easier to get.

Thank you! I wasnt sure which was a smarter location to concentrate my spending at. I love the convenience of Manhasset since going into the City would be a hassle. I was a little apprehensive because I have never liked the Hirshleifers SAs and was thinking Hermes would be similar. You definitely convinced me to give it a try and have an open mind.
