Has anyone ever been to the Hermes at JFK Terminal 1? I see online that they have a shop there but the phone number doesn’t work. Does anyone know what items are sold there and if they are duty free?

Ahh got it - thanks for the info!
I thought a member here mentioned seeing it at the Madison Ave location but I guess I remembered it wrong.
You're not wrong, that was me, and there was a mini Lindy there at the time in metallic gold. I don't know why folks are being told they're not in yet - I have seen two, the gold and what I'm pretty sure was Anemone. I remember that, because Anemone is my SA's favorite color and they are always trying to talk me into it.

This thread is amazing!! I am local to NYC and I'm hoping to get an Hermes Kelly for my mother's birthday (the big 5-0)! Any additional advice you have would be greatly appreciated. I don't have much of a spending history with Hermes but by the sounds of it, I should start at the Madison Avenue store? Also any DMs of great sales associates would definitely be accepted :)

yes the sticker price is 5% below USMSRP and no tax, so total savings is approx. 14-15% vs normal US retail price plus NY tax. All categories are sold there including home and baby. I was able to find a pair of twillies at that location that were sold out at Madison. Also plenty of rodeos. The store is location in Terminal 1 servicing Air France, Korean Air, Japan Airlines, Lufthansa and Norwegian.

Cool, thanks! My airlines for my flight next month is at Terminal 1.

Were there any bags? If so, what were available last time you were there?

Hi All! I just came back from the Madison store today and got a piece of jewelry to reward myself for the year lol. The SA I met was friendly and gave me the card. However I don’t have much purchase history at this store and it seemed that the SA was busy serving other customers...Can anyone kindly PM me a nice SA at any NYC store? Thanks a lot!

Madison is and will always be busy. It's Madison. If your SA was friendly enough and gave you their card, wouldn't it be best for you to stick with this SA? If it's your first time shopping with Madison, I think it makes sense that this SA had to serve other people. If you switch to another SA, you'll still have to rebuild your relationship... so there's really no difference, be it the Madison boutique or the Meatpacking one. Maybe you can try visit the meatpacking boutique and find better SA's there? They do not have as many tourists. We tend not to share Hermes SA info here bc we've had incidents where people pressuring Hermes SA's and demanding B or K, and complaining to SM's when they didn't get offers bc these SA's "are supposed to be nice to them."

Madison is particularly busy during the holiday season so I would expect all SAs there are busy at this time of year. If the SA who assisted you was friendly and gave you her card, I’d view that as a good start.

Agree& since the SA gave you their card, think they deserve the opportunity to help you..
If you don't like the service you receive, that's another story, but that doesn't seem to be the case here, JMO

Even one small purchase at this store make you a client, madison store is by far the best hermes store i have ever visited, and i travel alot. I would recommend that you email or text the SA to thank them for the help and then start building a relationship. On my first visit i remember being offered a kelly cut after purchasing 2 sandals only. I have been offered plenty of bags with different SA’s, and I only visit new york once a year for a week.
My husband bought a birkin 25 this summer with zero purchases (he have a purchase history but from previous years) you only need to be nice to them and visit the store regularly.

I've been shopping over the years at H on Madison. I deal with one particular SA but there are several other
SA's that know me. I never know if I'm going to find something when I'm going into the store or I just will stop by & say "hi" which I can tell you they appreciate
During the holiday season I also drop by with some goodies. For the most part I would say SA's are very
appreciative & the SA's in the Madison store are direct. If they have what you are looking for, you will be
offered it, if not they will do their best to get what you would like.
A little kindness, respect & a "thank you" goes a long way,
