NJ sample sales yes. NY has always been in one of two locations that I can recall (though I fell off the wagon for some years) But I think it’s bizarre that a bunch of us were invited to this one. Im not inclined to travel on the path train for sample sale orans and twillanes (though as per @jbeans , no choice if the rsvp link doesn’t work lol)

I don't think its that surprising. Clients from all over the east coast were invited to the Miami sale last year.
my husband got invited! I hope we can get a wed spot once the link is working.
I'll likely skip as October sale feels like yesterday but I'm glad I got the invite.
Wanted to get some advice from experienced H nyc shoppers here.
Initially, I shopped in Cali and spent maybe ~5k sporadically without expectations since it is so competitive there. After starting to shop in nyc, we spent ~4k before being offered first B, then another 20k for K offer. I'm a little conflicted right now, we just spent another ~3k, but the next purchase I want is quite $$$$ like over 50k. I've heard that if you spend too quickly with SA, they start to expect a higher spend before offering future bags. So I'm wondering I guess if we should go make another small purchase (think 3-5k but I have to really browse hard because there isn't anything I want to buy) in hopes of offer, or just pull the trigger on my big purchase?

I finally received the call (insert heavenly lights shining down). I’ll trek across the country and to Jerz for my first shot. My stupid a$$ doesn’t check my personal email a ton so absolutely cannot believe that I just saw the invite today. Going on Thursday afternoon. Wish me luck loves!
I doubt you will be getting another offer on your $3k spend so I don't see any reason not to buy the $50k piece right away.
Constance is not a quota bag but you will still need an ongoing relationship and spending history. Probably the same thing goes for the bolide but you could get lucky for that one perhaps.
A Constance is technically not a quota bag, but I was told last year by a Madison SA that it counts as a quota bag. This seems to be a store specific thing. I was quite surprised by this because I have shopped in other stores in the US where a Constance is not a QB at all. So the best thing is to ask your SA. This also may have changed since I was told this as well.
