Many thanks for these pics!
Found an SA I vibed with but when I went to see them on a second visit to exchange a faulty item, they listed a bunch of things that would get restocked and said every type of category except bags. Is that a bad sign?
I imagine that unless there’s a late shipment of push offers for the holidays (items not ordered by the SM but sent by Paris as a ‘treat’) most of the leather goods are now in warehouses waiting for deliveries to the boutiques. I also imagine SMs have made their lists and are checking them twice, and that there’s a limited supply so, assuming your question is really about whether you can get a bag for the holidays, how nice have you been this year/these past few years? :flowers:

I actually didn't directly ask about a bag when asking about inventory but found it interesting how she didn't mention bags. Made me nervous that maybe I should try another SA.

I just started my purchase history actually.

Just putting it out into the universe that I want my SA to invite me to events. I don't live locally so I am not always top of mind, but dammit that party looked fun. I will attend Madison events in 2024! Come on universe!

(Also TPFers with any ideas on how to improve invite chances, let a sister know :drinks: )
Have you mentioned to your SA you’re willing to come to town for events?

Here you are being reasonable and asking me to be proactive with my SA about the things that interest me. I was hoping for a magic wand darnit!

In all seriousness, I have not and never thought to, but I will. Last year I asked about the private sale and he didn't know.

Some pics from the Bloom event last night! It was not a selling event, just a fun party. You could browse and try on stuff, just not buy anything lol. (So no bag offers in case anyone was wondering.) They had performance artists throughout all 4 floors, singers, musicians, dancers, lots of passed hors d'oeuvres, food stations, and endless champagne and cocktails! Oh and an amazing fruit “tableau” (the best word I can think of to describe this) that was basically edible art! The fruits all had cream inside. The yellow “lemon” one was like a sherbet with a hazelnut flavored core. Sorry, I focus a lot on the food at these things… not the fashion lol. And of course lots of eye candy with all the H bags!

The presentation of food, drinks, desserts & fleurs from Hermes are always so special.
Thanks for sharing & hope you enjoyed the event

So you already know not to get nervous right? Hang in there and try to let things amble along on their merry way; you'll be less stressed/happier, and your SA will be relieved that you're not all about the bags. Buy stuff you like, and try to give your SA some sense of why you like/don't like things; it will help her to make better recommendations and you won't feel like you're being pushed into buying stuff you don't want because she'll know what to recommend, and you'll be thrilled as you slide down that orange, cashmere lined chute, with the rest of us! :flowers:

I follow someone on Instagram whose home store is DC and they received an invite for the private sale. And I was near someone in line who was talking about flying in the evening before. So it seems possible! At least in regards to the private sale.

Thank you for sharing the pictures! Just out of curiosity - how did you get an invite? Are you a vvip? Did you request for event invites? Thank you in advance!
Adding from what I know/heard.. I don't believe the SA has any input into the guest list, at least not for this Hermazing Series event. I say this bc I inquired my SA about it after receiving the email, which was sent end of Oct, and it was the first SA had heard about it. SA was finally made aware later and said it's "ongoing" where they hope to hold these soirees once a month, at least that was the original plan when the Maison reopened last October.

LOVE LOVE LOVE ! Everything looks amazing! :drinks: :drinks: :drinks:

@pegase_h, my local SA and my FSH SA are fine with me shopping two locations. (Plus Asia as family stress relief lol) . My main spend is local. I shop twice a year at FSH. It doesn’t impact my bag offers from either FSH or local (I received four this year, two from each location, and I accepted one). I agree with @textilegirl that it’s up to your SA and Sm.

For the bloom event, invites come from corporate, though it’s my understanding that your SA may be able to give a nudge for favored clients. There will be monthly interactive events and the invite list will not always remain the same, at least as per what I was told. In other words, even if you are a favored client, don’t worry if you are on one list and off for another, etc. (in other words, don’t take it personally lol)

ETA: It seems like the purpose of these events is simply for H clients to have a fun event where they can wear their H stuff and essentially hang out in the store. It’s not to attract new clientele or direct hard sell.

Hi! I am definitely not a VVIP, especially in NYC where there are so many big hitters with a longer and bigger shopping history than mine lol. I'm not really sure about how the invitations work, but I do know that there is a client engagement team and they handle a lot of invitations for private events, private sales etc. I do get along very well with my SA and he invited me to a womens RTW trunk show the first time I met him, before any kind of "prespend" etc... :shrugs:

Yes, totally agree! In fact, my SAs know that I also shop in Paris, and my Paris SA also knows I shop in the U.S. My SA was admiring a necklace I got at FSH last night, saying that he has never seen that here, and I told my Paris SA I was going to this event and he wanted to know what I was going to wear and loved the photos I sent him from the event. :hugs: :hugs:

Thank you, @880! I know I've been posting a lot about bag offers anxiously recently, but I truly love Hermes and want to be a VIP one day... I appreciate your comments!
