Hello everyone!
I have a huge favor to ask. Please give me your opinion. I’m so confused with my SA’s behavior. I’ve been shopping for 3 years and she pretty much offered me a SO almost right away. She also offered 1 Const while I was waiting. ( but she didn’t offer anything else during 2 years). She was nice, but we didn’t vibe exactly every time I was visiting. It was a bit strange - one time we Vibed, another time it felt like strictly business. After I received my SO 6 month ago I went away for the summer. and once I was back I texted her to make an appt and she said she’s busy till the end of the year. I asked her to mail me some things and at first she agreed but then she went mia. I have so many occasions to buy things and she’s not responding and it’s just so confusing. What do I do? Why can she be like that? Did I do anything wrong?
I like to give all SA's the benefit of the doubt under the circumstances you have put forth,
but there just comes a time when the client should realize that they deserve some kind of
communication.
Not knowing what the issue might be with her, the first clue as she says" she's busy til the
end of the year". My inclination is to just go into the store & find another SA & make
the purchases you would like or perhaps if you see her in the store catch up in a manner
that is comfortable for you.
Since the items you requested were not received, it is possible that were not available
& your SA just didn't inform you in the manner you expected which is disappointing
Shopping should be a pleasure & in this case it certainly is not. Sadly, many of us need to
stop making excuses for what we deem are highly trained SA's in client services with
inventory shortages, VVIP clients & the whole other ball of wax, that we shouldn't have to deal with, JMO

Wondering what to expect- started working with a great SA at Madison 3 mos ago. Have been in several times, only buy stuff I want/need/like. He brought up the topic of bags, possibility of a la carte. I told him I am not the sort of person who wants a lot of bags- I see myself with 1B, maybe 1K and a bolide (can only carry one at a time). The bags I would be interested in are the large size ones (b35, k32). Have I doomed myself to an eternal wait? We don’t text/communicate much except after I visit. Should I expect him to reach out about an offer or only if I happen to be in store and something is available?

Since he brought up the topic of a bag & am guessing (?) that you told him you would like
a B35, K32& Bolide, have you shared anything else with him like color or type of leather?
It appears he is looking to establish a relationship with you, so why not just ask now in a text
as you have just had a visit..
Inventory usually comes in for the holidays, so you may not have that eternal wait

The holiday season is one of the busiest(if not the busiest) time of year. Normally where an SA may have the time to order and mail out items, it can be a bigger task during the holidays. And as it's previously been mentioned SMs are pushing for in-store shopping, less remote. At least for clients who aren't already well established remote shoppers. The items you asked for could possibly not be available as well.

I'm typically not hard pressed for items, there’s always going to be things to buy lol, so if my SA were to be too busy I'm okay just waiting until they have availability.

Doomed yourself is a bleak way to look at it. You should have good luck with larger sizes.

@lisalisa comments that she was away for the summer & reached out to her SA for specific items
that the SA agreed to mail out to her. Why would a SA agree to mail out item(s) if they were not
available? And should they have not been available as H inventory changes so quickly, why
not just tell the client? In all honesty, communication good bad or indifferent is what makes
it work on both ends . SA's are busy no question about that & are inundated with requests,
but to have a client feel this way, it's just doesn't work especially when the client is expecting
what she asked for
Fast forward it is now just the beginning of December, so between the end of summer & now, the
SA should have been able to update her . SA told the client she was "busy til the end of the year"
& the SA message reads to me loud & clear, personally I'd work with another SA, but that's me

Hi All - This is a question for those who have received Birkin or Kelly offers at Madison location in the past with their SA -- when your SA is ready to offer you a quota bag, is it generally when you come in and shop, or do they call you and ask you to come in to offer the item?

I've been shopping in Madison for ever over a year now (since I moved to NY) - no offers yet. I believe I've spent a good amount, and my wish list was updated last time I went. But all my SA says is come back and see me more - which is honestly getting old, since I've purchased everything I want. I'm also prego and when I asked him do you think I'll happen before my baby comes, he just said come see me more? At this point, if they want me to spend more I think I'm at the wrong store because my prior SA when I lived in Florida offered me quota bags with much less pre-spend and on special occasions. Doesn't seem to be happening here =/

Twas pretty much our experience at Madison. Our Madison SA told us that they were told to get clients into the store and to do less over text/phone. That being said, there are also those well established clients that still interact remotely just fine. Going into a store will always be better, but Madison seems to have special rules from above.

As much as we all love H (?) at times, we have to read between the lines especially at Madison where
mixed messages run the gamut there

Can I ask is "come see me more" the exact wording they are using?

Literally, "you should come see me more."
Season 4 No GIF

Then in your situation it reads as "come spend more money."

@cravin what was your take when your old SA would tell you this?
