How much was your spend
Tough to say, I was offered the bag during my first visit of the year to the store, so my spend was $0 if counting annually lol. I didn't go in much during the holiday season last year either. I'm really not sure how to calculate prespend or over what timeframe
I mentioned that I was interested in one during my SO appt last fall, and my SA said it was rare to see, so it did take a few months to finally appear.

Prespend, as we talk about it on TPF, is generally the amount spent since last quota bag purchase.

I don't think it's always that clear cut tho? Or maybe it's just my experience. Instead of spend -> get bag -> spend -> get bag, for me it's often spend, spend, spend -> get bag -> get bag, so it's harder for me to give an accurate answer of how much spend for a particular bag in this case.

Quite interesting... these back to back bags are qbs?

In this case it was a qb then a KP. But since I was asked how much my spend was for the KP, I just couldn’t be sure of an accurate figure to give.
Agree that it’s hard to estimate. In my case, when my SA started seriously looking for me came way before the actual bag I loved came in. . . So, sometimes the wait isnt due to spend but when it arrives in the store. ive been estimating prespend for people here based on the actual amount at time of acquisition/payment of the bag, but I technically qualified long before.

100%! That’s why spend ratios quoted on here have such a wide range, a huge factor is when your store actually receives the bag you want.

Hi! I really would love to buy the 24/24 21 bag for my birthday next month but am still newer to the brand without a large purchase history (got my first bag- evelyne TPM at the madison store in oct as a walk-in). Is this bag considered a quota bag/hard to get? Does anyone know if they have stock in the madison store? Thanks :)

It’s not a quota bag and Madison has the best stock so probably your best chance. Good luck.

Completely agree with this. I've gotten plenty of bags back to back based (I guess? IDK) on being a long-term client. I don't think there is a "reset" unless you're fairly new to the store/SA/SM/brand overall. This is why I disagree with spend ratios, but I understand that belongs in the unpopular opinions thread

I also think the whole idea of "prespend" and "reset" applies way more to customers who are very specifically after a Birkin or Kelly. Nothing AT ALL wrong with that, but it's possible stores/SAs think you might disappear after you get your coveted bag. Like every flagship, or any store really, Madison will see you bought your first H in xxxx year and have since been active every week/month/year/decade/century ... and that's going to factor in.

Hi! Does anyone know the spend ration for a Constance 18?
Hi, I find it helpful to run a search (upper right hand magnifying glass)
for example spend ratio Constance
and then, when it prompts you to narrow down whose posts you would like to focus on, I plug in
TPF member acrowcounted (See attachment) When I did this, I came up with her post #577,
which I am taking the liberty of quoting below: (click on the link below and scroll down to #577 (posts are numbered on the upper right)

Hermes held an off site interactive RTW event today. Basically a trunk show format. The clothes turned out to be much more wearable than they appeared in the runway. I will post more pics later on the RTW thread but here are a few. Also, I got to try the arcon. For someone short like me, it can go crossbody, but imo it is most chic worn short

@jbeans, I expressed serious interest in a number of specific items. But, I am not entirely certain that some will be ordered by Madison or even make it into production. In that sense, there was a bit more uncertainty than a traditional trunk show where I can be reasonably sure that my specific picks and sizes will be ordered for purchase.

Ooh! I thought about going but decided to be a good employee instead lol. Were you able to place orders for pieces that you liked? Can’t wait to see more pics!
