Hi all! Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm so grateful for this group who's beens super helpful providing advice for a Hermes Noobie like myself!

Today I received an email to schedule an appointment for a bag offer (!!) super excited !! It can go two ways - I love the bag and buy it, or I don't love the bag and reject the offer. What will be potential "consequences" if I reject my first bag offer?
Congrats! That’s fun and exciting either way :) May I ask what your shopping experience has been so far that led to the offer (I’m also a newbie and waiting for the day I get an offer… hopefully sooner than later haha)

Hello! I followed the advice of this group here and my shopping experience has been really fun! I loved everything I bought from the store and my SA has been great - my first purchase at the store was around fall last year and I created my QB wishlist last month. It probably helps that I'm not after a holy grail bag or anything. My spending so far probably is just less than 0.5 : 1. Hope this helps! I'll let you guys know how my appointment goes.

Very exciting! Sounds good :)

Not yet - my SA only asked if I was interested when working on my wish list, so I’m curious what the next steps are to make it happen!
Oh. Madison is no different than any other US store. Each SA will be given a certain number of SO slots. She will come up with a list of clients she would like to offer it to and present the names and profiles to the SM. The SM will approve or deny and then, assuming approval, the SA will contact the client to come in for an appointment to make selections. Some SAs promise spots to clients a couple of seasons in advance, some work more spur of the moment. Other than continuing to spend money, there’s not much you can do to “make it happen”.

Interesting to know, is there a specific amount to prespend to be offered/ qualified for a SO? I would love one but heard it has to be offered by SA, wonder what the criteria are , thank you so much!

No. It’s like any other offer and there isn’t a set guideline. Depends on how much your SA likes you, how loyal you are, how much you spend, if they see you as a client that can go the distance, if the store likes someone else more, etc. The more anyone tries to break it down to a science, the more confused and frustrated they will become.
