thanks for all of this. Yes certainly no one should buy anything that they dont really want, at any store, for any reason. And everyone should be respectful and considerate of an SA and SMs time Am asking these questions bec. I would like to have a sense of what I am facing in the current environment, so as not to cross a line and make a request for this or that if Im not really eligible, so to speak. No one wants to put our SAs (at any store, Hermes, chanel, Bergdorf, or Morton Williams for that matter) on the spot. These insights and info is hugely helpful, thank you again

Thank you for confirming on this! But would they let us purchase non-QB right after a QB? Or is there a period that I would have to wait? Really wanted to buy a bolide 27 for my mom this year
Well I think it's 1 non-QB per month. I would assume this would be at your SA's discretion but if it's the next month and you have a good relationship and they have the bag in stock, why not?

Thanks; all this is JMO; lots of people have different experiences
But I don’t see anything wrong in asking an SA whom I have a good relationship with,
what it takes or how likely or how long to get X. And, I’ve had personal service from specialty butchers to Morton Williams :)

I posted above, sorry it didn’t go as a reply. I will revisit for sizing purposes in the summer. Maybe considering the first or third? I got a ring stuck on me last week in VCA and a little scarred!
I'm always fearful of that as well! I have the CDC ring(without the diamonds), I wear it on either ring finger. I really like it.

Thanks for the pics! I'm looking for a ring for my pointer as well  I've been eyeing the Chaine d'ancre Punk ring, your last picture, do you happen to remember what size that was?

I have tiny fingers so I think I generally was trying 49-51. I wanted to love that ring but I don’t think it lit me up. I’m also debating an all-diamond JUC ring for my pointer finger. Or the CDC (or stack them!?!). What other rings would you consider. I thought I liked without diamonds more but then looking at the pics I’m thinking the diamonds also look nice! Do you think it pairs well with my ring stack? I can send you a comparison pick with the JUC (not sure if I can in this thread though?)- I’m torn! They didn’t seem to have the Kelly ring (I think that’s the name) which I also wanted to try.

But I think I may wait til summer before I pull the trigger on rings I’m very nervous about sizing. Although the issue happened with between the finger rings which are designed very differently.

I tagged you in the Fine Jewelry Clubhouse thread for my reply.

Hi all! Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm so grateful for this group who's beens super helpful providing advice for a Hermes Noobie like myself!

Today I received an email to schedule an appointment for a bag offer (!!) super excited !! It can go two ways - I love the bag and buy it, or I don't love the bag and reject the offer. What will be potential "consequences" if I reject my first bag offer?

Better you reject the bag if you don’t like it than spend a lot of money on something you don’t love and won’t use. Even if you were extremely specific and they got you exactly what you requested, you can still change your mind when you see the bag irl. But if you gave general parameters then it’s really a feeling out process. In that case if you don’t like the bag, be polite but honest about why, I.e. don’t like that leather, would prefer x, don’t like that color, would prefer x, don’t like size, would prefer x, don’t like that color hardware, would prefer x, etc. That way the next offer may be closer to what you really want. It’s not a problem for the store if you reject the bag because there are probably several other people waiting for those specs and the bag will be offered to the next person in line. Wishing you the best of luck. I hope you love the bag!

Thank you! ok another question - how fast are you expected to act on it? like I can't make it there until next week, is that unreasonable to make the SA wait that long?
