So I have been a ~monthly shopper at Madison since spring ‘21 (out of state-based) and SA has been wonderful most of the time. As of late, I feel like they have been almost avoiding me. Recently they shared associates are working part time and specifically the one I am working with will not be in when I visit. Should I work with someone else or ask if distance sale is possible..? I will admit I purchased small items like scarves or shoes while traveling but under a different name profile (hope it’s not problematic?). What is best to do? Thanks!

i don’t think any SA begrudges a customer buying things while traveling. During Covid, when there were fewer customers in store, i felt SAs had more time to devote.

Prior to Christmas it seemed like many were taking time off, perhaps bc there was such limited inventory or other reason if Covid safety etc. Even now that there is more merchandise coming in, my SA texted on wed that his next day in was Saturday (when he could take care of a specific item for me.

Perhaps text your SA and ask if they will be there when you are next in? of course you are the customer and should do whatever makes you feel comfortable. If there is someone else you click with, you should do that.

Great points all around! It’s probably just the neurotic in me overthinking haha. Will just play it by ear honestly. may the odds be ever in your favor, right?

Shopped at Madison late yesterday. The basement is still very bare. There were a couple evelynes in the cases, but they still had luggage on the shelves where handbags usually are. Also, there were MANY croc bags out. They usually have a couple exotics in the display cases, but I counted 8 croc bags on display, where regular leather bags are usually displayed. I think it’s safe to assume inventory is still relatively thin.

Was the shop crowded?

No. Saw 5 customers total, but we were there in the last hour before closing.
thinking about paying a visit soon. It's never very busy on the top floors. Though I'll never forget the post-quarantine scene two years ago when the entire store was just packed with people being given multiple offers of gorgeous colorful small/mini kellys while they said things like "I don't know, would I ever wear this?" Lol, those were some crazy times.

Omg did they have mini evelynes

Larger ones in cases. Who knows whether they had one in the back.
I was there yesterday too and they weren’t busy at all. The shelves were pretty empty and 2 Evelyns were there, couple rodeos and many croc SLGs.
Then I went to MP, same thing with 1 Evelyn there and Herbag backpack.

but my SA said new shipment are coming in soon(not sure how soon).. so finger crossed :)
