Why have I never thought of this?

I won’t miss running up to the jewelry floor with a bag to hold it up against one of the windows to see what the color looks like in natural light lol.

I hope the new store has proper lighting, especially for scarves! Ever heard of windows?
What about that tiny spot in the center of the basement at the Madison boutique where you can try to see the real color of your leather bag? LOL

I think the new H store will be state of the art with every possible unexpected detail including the
lighting. The input from that SM will be of importance for those areas that need improvement
& hopefully bigger dressing rooms & fuller size range selection of RTW not to mention "handbag"
inventory.

I would like to be able to buy shoes without sweltering in the attic

and a ladies rest room that doesn’t make me think underfunded public school

or a sad airless private room, (if there is a fabulous sexy VIP private room, pls don’t tell me lol)

but it will be enough that DH and I can shop in the same location

JMO, but several premier luxury SAs have told me that they are overwhelmed with their existing clientele and are not accepting new customers at this time. It may be due to demands from corporate combined with higher expectations from current clients (in part bc of rising prices and diminished levels of stock). If they were to extend themselves, it would be for a personal referral known to at least one of the parties. Perhaps you should try going to a store and seeing who you connect with on a personal level.

very true! DH used the restroom and was very unimpressed to say the least. Over the summer, it felt like it was cooler outside than in the store. I am very much looking forward to the renovations and mens will be combined once again !
