Thank you! So would you say if the bags are included. Would my spend ratio end up being more like 2:1 or 3:1 to even request for a BKC?
bags count towards pre-spend but if you're spending mostly in the leather category at 2:1, your chances in getting a B or K will be much lower vs a client who is spending mostly in RTW because bags at H sell themselves. i'm not saying thats the exact ratio -- people just use that as a guide. some people spend more, some people spend less. your desired specs will also play a huge factor; the smaller the bag, the bigger the competition. it doesn't hurt to ask for B/K/C, they won't know what you want until you ask for it so its best to be upfront about it  however, inventory is very low and they've had an influx of new clients so there's lots of demand for H products (not just the quota bags). also, remember that WS is the smallest of the stores in NYC so they don't get as much as stock as say madison would.

Hey! I haven't been able to check in with my SA since December cause I have been abroad. I'm at the Meatpacking District store. How are stocks nowadays? She previously told me they arent even expecting shipment until February/March so I kind of just zoned out a bit. Wondering if now was a good time to touch base again.

I’m at MP too. Stocks are pretty bare. They’ve got some new SS22 triggering in here and there but nothing really significant. I’m waiting for new stocks too! :-s:-s

I cannot believe the interactions that I saw today at Madison Ave. A woman in the leather department started chatting up an SA. She then waved for the rest of her party over. The older lady in the bunch pulls out a bank wrapped bundle of $100 bills (10k) and tells the SA “I want a Birkin with this”. The SA had to take a second to respond before she said “I’m sorry, but we don’t have any in stock” before quickly walking away to the stock room.

And two different people with requests to SAs of “I want a Kelly or Birkin”. Another tourist saying “I’ll be in NYC for three more days, can you hold one for me if you get a delivery by then?”

These people were very loud almost as if they thought louder would improve their chances. It’s like a feeding frenzy for bags.

Omg. This is insane! I wonder if she was willing to bribe her as well.

You’re brave wandering into Madison on a Saturday lol. And I do feel for the SAs having to deal with some rude and very demanding clients.

We only went because we were picking up my new glasses across the street at Morgenthal. As soon as we left, my wife turned and said “Let’s not come back on a Saturday again. I much prefer late on weekdays when it’s quiet”

My SA told me it’s daily emotional damage esp with people who demand c/k/b. Even threats and demands to buy the samples they have for clients to figure out sizing. My SA said few instances where people will take those and go to the register demanding to purchase them. I think it’s insanity. Nothing, is worth that kind of uncouth behavior. I love Hermes but I’m not insane

Omg! Some people are so desperate. I was at Madison yesterday and my SA mentioned they get yelled at everyday by clients. It’s terrible:sad:

H madison is perfectly located (that’s our morganthal for two decades too; brief hiatus to morganthal 74) years ago, I think our morganthal was originally across on the east side of the street
m is the best at gauging our taste and fitting the temples! Plus, brunello flagship next door :)
OT, but if your wife needs a smaller case for oversized horn frames, we use valextra. (I don’t think H makes anyth8ng like it, though H SA said he thought they did once upon a time. The Valextra case fits into TPM (card case, iphone, hand sanitizer all good), K25, mini Della cav etc.

Does anyone know what the bag stock is like at Madison or Wall Street? Is it getting better? My birthday is in may and trying to get a quota bag and hoping stock might get a bit better by the spring? Thanks!
