Hey happy birthday! Sorry to hear that happened. I've also had that experience at Collins St with one particular SA and it makes me wonder if she was the same.. anyway, there are also very nice and helpful SAs there, so don't give up, both collins and chaddy have nice and helpful SAs! Hope you're having a wonderful birthday!

Thank you! I’m having a great birthday  I think it could be the same sa since you had a similar experience. I just don’t get why she feels the need to be rude. We are all human and should treat each other with respect. I’m sure there are some nice SAs! I think I just need to forget about this experience and try my luck again.

Walked into the Collins street store yesterday only to experience such rude attitude from an sa there… she asked me what I was looking for and I said I was just browsing for now and will her know if I need anything. I didn’t really want anything in specific but wanted to buy something nice for my birthday today which then I asked her about a homeware item and she said we don’t have that in stock, which is fine, so I asked is it possible to order and she said no so I asked her polity if there’s any way I can get it and she gave me the look and said NO…it’s not like I was asking for for birkin or Kelly… Anyway after that I knew I didn’t want to buy anything from her and said ok thank you and walked out in which I heard her gasping behind my back as if I was just a waste of her time. I’m wanting to start my H journey but seriously already put off with this kind of attitude. Sorry for the rant! It’s so hard to find a nice sa…
Collins street has some great sales that would love to help you with homeware, I would try again with a different SA if the location is more convenient, the store manager there would not tolerate such rude behavior.....and HBD!

Thank you for your advice! Glad to hear the store manager would not tolerate rude behaviour. Will give it another shot and hopefully find a nice sa!

Hello, I just started my H game 6 months ago. Does Hermes still hold sales events in Melbourne? I have seen many youtube videos on the New york, Paris sale. And this thread seemed to have started from the sale back im 2007.

Aww thank you! I was actually thinking of telling her I’m here to buy a birthday gift for myself maybe after chatting for a bit and getting to know each other but then honestly I was so put off after asking her about the homeware piece I didn’t even bother. I was so intimated I wanted to quickly leave so I didn’t even think about looking at her name tag. I live closer to the Collins street store but I will give Chadstone a go next time I’m there. Thanks for the reply!
Yes stay positive! Update us after your next visit and hopefully a better SA and some orange boxes to reveal

Good evening everyone! Does anyone got a picotin from Collins store recently? Build up my profile to $1600 and not sure whether it i enough:confused1: Should I ask my SA directly?
If you go back a few pages, @littlemissluxury kindly posted the minimal spend for a non quota bag is $3000 these days.

Also if the colour, leather, size combo you are after might be very popular that might also affect time time frame.

How to get a bag at Hermes Australia.

I used to work at Hermes as an SA in Melbourne until recently so I know exactly how to get a bag.

Pick one SA. Preferably someone new to the store because SA's who have been wth the company for awhile have a solid client list and will preference them first.

Birkin, Kelly, Mini Kelly, Constance $20,000 spend in one store with one SA.

Picotin, Roulis, Verrou, Bolide, Evelyn, Mini Evelyn $3,000 with one SA.

There are less bags and less stock because of COVID-19.

Hi :) I have heard some people were able to get a hold of a picotin without a single purchase history. Is that common? also, what about the herbag?

Hi everyone!! I have put a Constance bag on my wishlist via an SA in the Collins Street store, however, she seemed a bit disinterested in me and I'm not sure if she really liked me.

Does anyone have any good SAs they could give me the details for? Or is the Chadstone store better? I would really love a Constance bag as my every day bag and I'm really not sure how much I have to spend to get one or if they are really rare. Thanks all xo

Hi! Do you have any recommendations for a specific SA to speak to or whether Chadstone or Collins St are better? Really want a Constance bag :)

Hi all,

I have been a regular at Chaddy with a SA, and she had resigned. Decided to go with this new SA who is someone of a senior position.

Bought approximately $10k plus worth of goods so far and I have not been offered any bags in the store.

For regular items, I have tried asking for availability and was told that there’s no stock and there’s nothing she could do.

what would you guys do? I’m on the verge of writing a formal complaint not because there’s no bags being offered , but I’m not expecting a “buy and go” service from a luxury store. I’m not looking for personalised service either but I would expect at least a follow up or a recommendation of another design if such stock isn’t available.

what would you guys do? Also, is there such a thing as “stock team” or just an excuse by the SA? :)
