So, I'm mainly from the Sydney store but have travel to Melbourne quite frequently. I've never purchased anything yet from Melb store.

I had a SA I worked with and who has given me quota bags before in the last 3 years. He has been pleasant to work with. Recently since December 2021, I've been trying to contact him to book an appt to revisit him but he didn't respond. I sent a few emails and only got a cold response after over a month saying that I could go to the store and another SA could assist me. I did email back saying that I could make a booking for later months but again, never got any response. I know during Dec last year it was a bit busy with the surging omicron cases and a lot of people in lockdown but its now February and I've since been back to the store without appt and it wasn't that busy. Definitely less staff though. The SA that I was allocated with on that random visit was not nice at all so I did not end up purchasing anything.

I still have a few things I want to buy but I don't want to be spending it with some SA I do not like.

What's the situation like in Melbourne? Are you still able to make appts?

What do you think? Should I reach out to my SA again (but I feel like I've already done so for too many times) or maybe I could change to Melb store if the service will be better?

If I was in your position, I would reach out one more time, and ask him if he could still help me find the items on my list. If he doesn't reply or seems not interested to be my SA anymore..then I will move on & find another SA

Hi,
I have previously gone into Hermes randomly and purchase items, but now I really want to start my Hermes journey and just shop with the same SA. So I am looking for SA recommendations and is the Chadstone store or Collin St store better?
Whenever I call Collin St to see what bags they have they will just ask you to go instore to talk to them whereas the Chadstone store is happy let you know what they have available over the phone.

I think you should try to find another SA that you actually like & maybe from a different store. It’s tiring to have to chase after someone repeatedly. My friend reluctantly switched over to a newer SA recently but she was actually offered more quota bags than she did previously.

I personally cannot recommend Collins St highly enough. Their SA are very friendly and so is their store manager, on a quiet day we chitchat even though I'm not their client.

Thank you so much for your input, it's definitely informative & much valued.

Would you mind to elaborate further on "quota bags"?

From what I've read on the forum, some stores consider other bags like Lindy as quota bags too. Possibly more common in Asian countries as almost all bags are highly sought after.

What is it like in Melbourne?

Is Kelly Danse considered a quota bag as well?

Just trying to understand whether or not I would've exhausted my purchase history already.

Wishing you the best for your next adventure. :flowers:

Good question, I’m also wondering if Lindy is considered a quota bag. I’ve been wanting to get one for so long, but I’ve always been told that they “don’t have it” (at least not the colour I’m after :(

Walked into the Collins street store yesterday only to experience such rude attitude from an sa there… she asked me what I was looking for and I said I was just browsing for now and will her know if I need anything. I didn’t really want anything in specific but wanted to buy something nice for my birthday today which then I asked her about a homeware item and she said we don’t have that in stock, which is fine, so I asked is it possible to order and she said no so I asked her polity if there’s any way I can get it and she gave me the look and said NO…it’s not like I was asking for for birkin or Kelly… Anyway after that I knew I didn’t want to buy anything from her and said ok thank you and walked out in which I heard her gasping behind my back as if I was just a waste of her time. I’m wanting to start my H journey but seriously already put off with this kind of attitude. Sorry for the rant! It’s so hard to find a nice sa…

Firstly, Happy Birthday!! So sorry you had to experience this on your birthday. Please don't let this get to you ok. I would have mentioned that it was a birthday gift from you to you and wondered if it made a difference. Did you get her name? I would call the store to give feedback there and then. I hope you will find better service in your next visit or perhaps go to the store at Chadstone?

Happy birthday fellow March babe ;) I’m so sorry to hear about your terrible experience. Personally I’ve always had really good experience at the Collins st store, perhaps because I visited on Sundays during off-peak hours?

Aww thank you! I was actually thinking of telling her I’m here to buy a birthday gift for myself maybe after chatting for a bit and getting to know each other but then honestly I was so put off after asking her about the homeware piece I didn’t even bother. I was so intimated I wanted to quickly leave so I didn’t even think about looking at her name tag. I live closer to the Collins street store but I will give Chadstone a go next time I’m there. Thanks for the reply!

Thank you! Your birthday must be in March too? I have been to the Collins street store last year to buy hubby a belt which the sa who helped us was lovely but I didn’t get his name as I never thought about getting a quota bag until now. I’m ready to start my H journey so I was hoping to encounter a nice sa to work with but of course that didn’t happen…it wasn’t busy when I was there yesterday. Probably just wasn’t my day!

Hey happy birthday! Sorry to hear that happened. I've also had that experience at Collins St with one particular SA and it makes me wonder if she was the same.. anyway, there are also very nice and helpful SAs there, so don't give up, both collins and chaddy have nice and helpful SAs! Hope you're having a wonderful birthday!
