Ah I see. Are the bags ‘on display’ literally just on display or are they reserved for certain customers? Also, do both Collins St and Chadstone receive the same/similar amount of quota bags or does Collins St get more because they’ve been around for longer?
Thanks!!

The bags on 'display' are on 'display' until they are taken off. They are not put on hold for any customers. When they are taken off we can can sell them. We never sell them without letting a customer know that they have been on display.

Both Collins Street and Chadstone get the same amount of bags.

We are never told how many bags or which bags are coming until they arrive. This is solely decided on in Paris. When the bags arrive they are divided into quota and non-quota bags.

The non-quota bags are split evenly amongst the SA's. Sometimes we may swap non-quota bags with other SA's.

The quota bags are different. The clients who have been put forth buy their SA's for quota bags must have reached the payment threshold and are then granted the bag or a bag similar to the one they wanted. The client with the highest spend gets the best bags and first preference.

Interesting.. will more senior SA get better non quota bags?

Are rodeos divided the same way?

No all bags are divided equally between staff by either the Stockroom Manager or Store Manager. This is why I say to find a trainee/new sales associate if you are starting your H journey because the more senior sales associate's already have a loyal client list. There is no benefit for a customer to be with a more senior SA because all SA's are treated equally by the company.

The rodeos are also divided equally between all staff but this is just because of Covid. Covid has effected our stock very badly.

Also, each SA has a maximum of clients they can put forth for a quota bag each month. So if you are with a more senior SA you might hav the minimum spend but they might put other clients who have spent more before you.

Hello, thanks for sharing your insights on the TPF.
In regards to the requirement of "spend", I don't think it is a hard rule right?
The reason I made this comment is that there have been occasions that I could be offered bags back-to-back, within a short period of time and relatively small spend in between, esp. when the right bag comes in.
So, I wonder if the long-standing status of the customers play a part in the bag-offering decisions.
In addition, if a SA have a few VVVVIP clients, their Total Sales would be relatively higher, right? So, does the SA get allocated more Quota Bags (B,K,C) because of the higher Total Sales (I suspect it does)?

Nothing is a hard rule just general rules and everything is up to the discretion of the Store Manager. Loyalty is usually rewarded.

All SA's a given the exact same amount of bags regardless of their monthly total sales.

Usually if you have been offered a bag within a short space of time your SA would have organised it much earlier and arranged for it to be given to you when that particular style and color have become available.

Thanks for sharing. I have one more question, how many A la cart bags do each SA get allocated each year?

SO (special order) or A la Carte bags are custom bags which are offered to good clients. They are generally invited in for an appointment to place an order. The styles, colours and leather list only changes once a year for each store, with limited approved slots from Paris. Clients from Melbourne have shared their experiences here. Can you tell us what you know about it?

This is very very difficult. I can only guess as due to privacy reasons I was never given the exact amount. Typically only the Store Manager and Managing director know the exact amount for the store. The SA's are not told about individual special orders unless it is for our client. From what I have witnessed 5 a year but this is just an estimated guess.
