Florence was walk-in with zero to short wait (went a couple of times last month); however stock was next to nothing. certainly no bags, but even shoes, belts and other accessories were limited in sizes and colors.Hi there, I am travelling at the moment. Are the boutiques at Florence and Bologna appointment only or do the serve walk ins as well? Is there a relevant waiting time (do I need to find something to do for DH meanwhile?)?
I am only interested in silk, not bags.
Frankly, Bologna is the worst H boutique I have visited in Europe. The merchandising was a mess and the SAs were beyond indifferent, ”The display bags are not for sale and we have no other bags.”Hi there, I am travelling at the moment. Had the same experience. I wanted to buy a calvi duo and it was set aside while I browsed. I asked to see a herbag. The SA had to ask a senior SA for the key to the display case. After looking me up and down, the senior SA said the bag couldn’t be touched as it was reserved. I told the junior SA sorry then left. I felt sorry for the jr SA as she was so nice but she had a jerk for a colleague.Frankly, Bologna is the worst H boutique I have visited in Europe. So, not worth a detour in the way home as I will look like a shipwreck after 2 weeks of hiking.Had the same experience. I wanted to buy a calvi duo and it was set aside while I browsed. But the town itself is worth a detour thoughSo, not worth a detour in the way home as I will look like a shipwreck after 2 weeks of hiking.
I know, I have been there several years ago, we had a great time. But since we are farther south I want to use my time well. But the town itself is worth a detour though
You just have to ask. In H, there's always a 50/50 chance. But if the SA/SM really likes you and you have a good rapport with them-then it becomes a 100% chance!Touring Italy in October for my birthday for 2 weeks and just realized that fashion week is still ongoing when I get there. What are the chances I might be able to get a nonQB bag like Evelyne or a Picotin?![]()
Hi, I am back from traveling. Visiting the boutique in Firenze was really bad: during the short time I waited to be served I could already look at the displayed scarves (several I wanted to check out), then a nice SA approached me, we instantly had good chemistry, she let me rummage through the scarf drawers and try the ones I was interested in, she was great help when I was undecided about which CW suited me better. She knew the merch really well, knew about artists and designs of past seasons. I got three silks, she gave me her card and told me to ask for her again at my next visit.Florence was walk-in with zero to short wait (went a couple of times last month); however stock was next to nothing. certainly no bags, but even shoes, belts and other accessories were limited in sizes and colors.
That I great. I am going there tomorrow. Can you share her information?Hope this is helpful for tourist visiting Rome boutique. I just came back from Rome and was able to get a Picotin 18 beton GHW by walking in. I bought some scarves together with the bag and have no profile/purchase history with Hermes Italy. I came in with a list of scarves and shoes that I wanted to buy and showed her the photos (I wasn’t just browsing around as I already did my homework before maybe that’s the trick). She went and came back with 2 available items. I then asked if it’s possible to get a bag and she asked me what I wanted. I told her picotin/mini Evelyn neutral colour and she went in again and came out a with a big box. Brought me to a secret room to show me the bag lol. Paid and she gave me her number and said she will check again tomorrow if any of my scarves are available. I texted her the next day and she told me 2 more scarves are available. I came to pick it up and reckon we already build a relationship so can broach the BKC topic lol. She told me it’s only for locals on wishlist basis. She then offered me a bolide normal size but I told her I’m only looking for mini or small. Paid for the scarves and return to my home country very happy
That is too bad you had such a terrible experience. It really is hit or miss depending on when you decide to visit each boutique. I had the Opposite experience visiting Rome on a weekday morning, no lines, helpful service and found a couple of items I’d been looking for, as Well as my friend (who got a bag). There is no rhyme or reason. Was at the Rome boutique, horrible experience. Waited 1 hour in the line, once I entered waited another 30 minutes and they had nothing. Don’t waste you time. I got better service at the boutique in the airport.
