Hi everyone!! Will SAs in Hawaii let a husband and wife start 2 separate accounts so that’s there’s 2 separate spend accounts to try to each get a quota bag offer in the same trip? Brand new to Hermes no home store prior. Also wondering if what counts towards the spend is different in Hawaii? Do leather shoes, belts and non quota bags count towards the spend for a b or k? Tia!!

Yes, you can have two accounts for you and spouse. Just from reading others’ experiences, getting a quota bag from one visit is almost impossible. Also, RTW, home and fine jewelry seem to count further for spend. Other ladies can chime in. Most of all, have a fabulous time!

I would suggest making an account at separate stores to increase your odds. As @meeowy had mentioned RTW, Home and Jewelry (Watches) carries more weight.

Thanks for the suggestion!! Can they tell we are a couple by address even if we are shopping at 2 different stores? If by luck I get offered a quota bag at one store will the other location be able to see that? Just wondering if they look up by address. Tia!

Thank you!! Do you mean one visit to the boutique or during our week visit to hawaii? Should I go to the boutique often during my vacation or did you mean it will take different trips to hawaii to eventually be offered?

They look you up by phone number and name, not address iirc.

You should visit each boutique the first day of your trip and try to make a few more visits before you leave. If you spend enough or get lucky, you may be offered a bag. Judging by what others have posted, it requires multiple trips to possibly get a QB and that is also ymmv.

Waikiki - I stopped by on a Sunday and had a great experience. First day I lined up for 30 min and matched up with a warm SA. He showed me everything in the store and asked me what bags I wanted. I wanted a crossbody bag. I bought a few things and left. The next day he texted me to come down. As soon as I arrived, he happily showed me the bag he reserved under my name. We went to a private area and opened up a nata ghw mini halzan. it was gorgeous but I declined since my lifestyle is too active for a white bag. I think he was disappointed I didn’t take it as he knows bags are hard to come by, especially for a new walk-in. I thanked him for the good experience and got a few more things to take home. So the wonderful thing is I have his contact so I just text him for an appointment. Unfortunately I didn’t time my visit right as there weren’t many shipments. There are more tourists now too. My SA did try to show me a kelly 25 man’s clutch and rodeo charm just to “help”- I think he really wished he could get me something special. I will return to see him again in future trips!

Ala Moana- my husband decided to try the H store for me by himself. First day he went, the SA said sorry no bags. My husband asked for her business card. Next day he texted her. She said promptly I have one black evelyne 29. He went and got it. Viola! What a wonderful time at both stores.

So get a business card, be respectful, visit on multiple days, text the SA around 10am. Buying other things helps if you are new, but not required. Hope this helps you!
Thank you for sharing your story. This is so very helpful indeed. Leaving for Hawaii in 2days. Can't wait!

Hello Loves! So happy to have found this thread.

My family is island hopping Hawaii for labor day week. My home store is in a competitive city on the East Coast, but it hasn't gone well despite frequent visits.

I know it will be extremely crowded in Hawaii Labor day weekend so I wanted to meet a SA I can click with by queuing in line for both stores ( I know that SA's are guarded treasures so I am not going to ask for a contact info lol). And then if I find a nice SA maybe I can come back again late Fall when there is less tourist in Honolulu.

My dream wish bag is a Mini kelly. Is it harder or easier to get than a B/K 25?

And what do you think minimum prespend would be looking like to be even be considered for a mini k?

A friend told me that her friend was offered a Mini kelly in a beautiful neutral tri color last week at one of the Hawaii stores, but this person goes to Hawaii alot and only shops there. Do stores get these tricolor mini's often? Are they limited or regularly made?

Thank you!

Has anyone been to any Hawaii locations where they had any Calvi Duos? I’ve been looking and checking where I live but they never have any! And seems like they don’t restock it online either….

Does anyone know if the Waikiki store on the strip is open? I tried calling in the store but no one picked up the phone! They recently closed temporarily too so does anyone know if they are open?
I just went there yesterday and it was open. In the past when I tried calling a live person never answered. Im not sure if the hours of operation have changed recently but on the site its listed at 1-8, when before they were open at 11.

Hello! Has anyone been offered a QB on their first trip lately? If so, is the spending ratio still close or less than 1:1? Would appreciate it if anyone can share their experience

I have read it somewhere that many SAs (Waikiki Hermes store, to be specific) have told their clients that no bkc for first time customers. Seems that it’s just getting harder and harder to get a bkc even at touristy places like Hawaii and Vegas :hrmm:

Hawaii and Vegas do not want to be seen as one hit wonder stores. They know this has become the social media urban legend when in actuality they work with relationships just like any other USA H store. First time clients may be able to obtain lesser bags during their first visit (meaning the entirety of your vacation week) but quota bags are generally only offered to repeat clients who are often called to come collect them so it’s not like they are desperate to sell to whoever is there. Perhaps spending 3-5x could persuade an offer but even then I think at most you’d been offered a Constance.
