Fed X left a door tag on my door the other day of an attempted delivery. They came back the next day with the package from H.com.

I thought perhaps this was a new thing with Hermes deliveries but this happened subsequent to your experiences.

Perhaps it's your Fed X delivery person who was too lazy to leave a door tag and bring back the package.

I usually get left a FedEx delivery note in my mailbox if they have tried to deliver when I'm not there. I have to ring and organise a new delivery time. There is the option to sign the card and put it on the door and then they can leave the parcel outside my door. I live on the countryside so it is ok to do so. I've had stuff from H and Dior deliverd like that.
 
Hermes requires a live person to sign their slip. You're lucky your delivery guy allows you to do this.

Our FedEx delivery guy is actually the regular post lady here at the countryside. But it is FedEx paper that is signed and there is a special box to tick if you allow drop off outside your house so it seems FedEx in our country allows drop offs to be made. Now our post lady is crazy and I rather let her place it outside my house because she has on earlier occasions left parcel at a neighbour without my consent or requireing my neighbour to sign for the parcel. Yes it was a Chanel Mademoiselle bag that cost a lot of money. The drop of I had from H com EU was a K wallet in chevre so quite an expensive items for FedEx to allow drop off.
 
Congrats panthere !! Must be aweful having to call so many times and have to wait. Due to the value of the item, I must say that we're even more impatient in terms of wait time. To have this happened is absurd. I know that Fedex had held my package twice and wouldn't return it to the shipper right away. I assume that the package is insured so why can't the package sit in fedex for an extra day to attempt a second delivery. Anyway, we all hate H rules, regardless of store or online. They just really not customer oriented.

No it wasn't because when I called fedex they said shipper requested the box to be returned to them after 1 unsuccessful attempt. When I called hermes they said yes, value of package too much and it's going back to them.
 
The website has added a search function I'd asked them about months ago. You can now search the enamels section by size. Under the PRINTED BRACELETS section you can click a link called COMPOSE YOUR SET and it gives you a choice of 62, 65 or 70 and then you take it from there.

It's the first useful new link they've added the site in some time.
 
Hello all, I'm a total H newbie, and I need some help (and hopefully assurance/encouragement :)) I apologize if this was in the wrong thread.

I ordered an item from h.com on Christmas day for a last-minute gift for my mom. Yes, I got it way too late, but this item is what she's been dreaming of, and even though I didn't get it in time, I was just ecstatic to see it show up on the website so I can get it for her. I made sure my CC's balance is $0 so I can be ready once this item does come on. I started stalking this forum quite a lot before making a decision, and was planning on making a reveal as well. And after ordering, I showed it to my mom already ordered and all, so technically, I was "on time" I guess, and she just can't wait to see/touch/feel/use the thing.

Initially, I was just gonna have it shipped at SCP Hermes and I'll pick it up there with my mom, but when I called CS and found out that it will take at least a week to arrive at the store, I called and changed the shipping speed to priority overnight, so it'll be here first thing tomorrow morning, so she can have it before 2014 ends... or so I thought. I was told by the nice lady over the phone that I will get an e-mail with the tracking number once it got shipped. I never got the e-mail, but I kept my window open on h.com and saw that my order was modified to reflect the new shipping method. It even had a tracking #, which I kept open on a separate window. We were just so anxious that I kept refreshing both windows too often, but alas, the entire day, it only showed "Shipment information sent to FedEx", which leads me to think that it won't be here at all tomorrow... and on the fedex website, the estimated delivery date went from "Tues, 12/30/2014" to "N/A"... which honestly bummed the heck out of me.

It doesn't make sense because it said on the website that if the item was ordered before 2 PM EST, it will be delivered the following business day by 10 AM. I called and modified my order around 8 AM PST, which is around 11 AM EST, so technically I "ordered" before the cutoff time.

Has anyone experienced this from ordering at the website? Is there a possibility that I can still get it by tomorrow? Part of me is keeping my hopes alive, that we all might just be surprised, but then again, I'm more of a pessimist really so I don't know. Should I give CS a call tomorrow? After this, I don't even know if I want to order from the website anymore, it's giving me anxiety :(

My first order from H.com went something like this as well. It's somewhere in this thread if you search under my posts. We did end up getting the item but they had to track it down, they sent it overnight once they had it in possession but it was later than expected. Best of luck!
 
I find the website soooo annoying! First I tried to reset my password and NEVER received an email as they stated I would. Then I made a new account but five mins. Later the item was no longer availalble. Their stock seems to disappear and change at random. Forget calling too, no answer then you can only leave a message. Worst service ever, was only trying to buy an Evelyne.

This is very annoying....I have been waiting three days for a password reset email.....I've requested several times. The items I would have purchased are now gone. It seems like a simple enough request..............

I never received my password reset email after waiting 24 hours and called CS. They reset my password and I was able to log into my account and change my password that way. Try giving CS a call. :smile1:
 
Bumping this. I have a question on returns for items bought from H.com. I sent back a return a week ago to H.com Europe. For those of you who have returned to H.com Europe, how long before you get your refund back to your card? I sent back a NAP item at the same time and I have already received a refund on NAP already but I have not heard anything from H.com. The return service is a 2 day guaranteed service so the item should have reached H warehouse in Paris .
