I honestly believe there’s something wrong with the H webshop, I had a similar incident last year with a cashmere shawl packed all fuzzy in the wrong kind of box, upside down in the brown paper box… I just took it then, but after the main customer service incident above with the sandals and a minor incident right after that I decided to leave the webshop permanently.
I never had an issue before this but have honestly gotten tired of H lately. This just made me not want to shop there. Even their returns response is off. They signed for my return 8 days ago and they haven’t even acknowledged it’s there yet.
 
Is this how they are shipping things now? Yes it’s just a bride-a-brac but it’s not cheap either. First they completely left off my unit number and the delivery was delayed by a week and a half and then I opened the box and it’s just seems like it was barely wrapped and tossed in.View attachment 6201459

This seems to be the "normal" H online packaging, unlike the Bride A Brac situation of being tossed into a cardboard box without anything else 😭.

Just curious, what did you order? That little square box is sooo cute! 👀☺️

Yep I am. My previous online orders also arrived packaged similarly, though the last time I ordered online was years ago.

One could argue that a bride-a-brac would not have come in an orange box if you buy it in store, but I would expect some sort of packaging beyond the paper they added to protect the bag, nonetheless. I wonder if this is how they now ship pillows /towels or anything that does not necessarily come in an orange box.

Haha, it's a bracelet. They did not have a "fresh" one in store, so my SA placed an order for me to get it shipped home.

I would hope that’s not how they are doing some stuff now.Even if it isn’t in a box it should have been packaged nicely. I’ve purchased a few pouches from them and all of them came in the classic orange box and then the h branded outer box like yours. This was just tossed in a brown box and off it went ha ha and then back it went to them. It snagged it a bit in the box

Hmm...The past few days, I have been experiencing issues with H.com and wonder if anyone else may be experiencing this? When I begin browsing the site, no matter what I click on, the site blocks me. I have had temporary glitches in the past where it may mistakenly block me for a few minutes, but it always either self resolves or I clear the cookies etc.... now, I do not know what is happening or how to resolve. I am a very infrequent online shopper and in the past year bought a total of two small items, both of which were kept. If anyone has any insight or advice for resolving, I would truly appreciate. :)

Just hit refresh and the page will load. Has happened to me quite a bit of late. Refresh usually helps. If it doesn't is when one has to wait for time to elapse.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I have tried refreshing, letting time elapse, clearing cache/cookies and nothing seems to restore my access. Not sure what might me falsely triggering this. In the past, these sort of glitches always self resolved simply allowing a little time to pass....

The exact same thing happened to me last night, I was in their site and about to purchase an item when I got blocked. I am not a small customer and this is the first time it happened to me. After getting completely locked out, went onto another device, got in easily and managed to get the item into my shopping basket. When I went to sign in, it told me I entered the wrong email address or password (I did not) and the site locked me out again. I managed to get in this morning but only after I clicked that I’d forgotten my password and needed a reset link. I should not have had to do that but it did work and I was able to place my order. Way too many hoops to jump through.

So sorry to hear you have been having these issues too. Something is definitely especially off with the site at the moment. Glad you were able to figure a solution out. I will see if that might solve it for me too.

What’s interesting for me is several years ago I was contacted by Hermes and asked if I’d be willing to participate in an interview regarding purchasing from the website, they said because I was one of their biggest online customers they were looking for specific information. I was on the phone for two hours with a gal from France, it was very interesting, they sent me a lovely gift after the fact. And then yesterday they block me from using the site. I don’t think the right hand knows what the left is doing.

If it’s the block that I’m thinking of … it’s probably just the common glitch / bug. It should go away after clearing cookies / a short while.

I’d say it happens to me fairly often when accessing the site (maybe once every 100 times). Usually happens if I refresh the page too quickly or happen to accidentally have two H tabs open at once.
