How odd! I called them knowing I wouldn't be home so requested that the pkg to be held at a Fedex/Kinkos. They refused saying they needed "at least 1 attempt" before they could do so. A week earlier a person I spoke with gladly called Fedex to have a different delivery held. This was just a month ago... Maybe they dictate different policies for different zip codes (i.e. Very busy, dense areas like Manhattan vs. a quiet suburb)? Either way their lack of transparency is maddening - especially for things we legally are entitled to having a basic expectation!


No idea...I will let you guys know if I ever get that garden party haha
 
Hi wondering if this happened to anyone else. I bought garden party on h.com this week. Missed fedex delivery yesterday when I was in my closet and guy didn't bother to even ring the bell. So I was expecting package today and decided to track door tag number where it says that shipper requested the package to be returned to them! I call h.com and they tell me that because of high value of the package they have requested it to be returned to them even after just 1 failed attempt! And once they would receive it they were planning on calling me to find out if I still want it. Wondering if this happened to anyone else? I have bought from h.com multiple times even a kelly wallet missing multiple deliveries and never having an issue like this! So I don't know if they changed their policy but they should make people aware that you can't miss one chance at delivery?

That's absurd, panthere55! Did they note what dollar value designates this "special" delivery service? Let us know what happens!

I see things on H.com I'd like to order, but hesitate now. It seems there have been too many odd, and unusual experiences noted here, recently. I don't know any other online retailer that makes it so hard to shop!
 
Hermes.com in Canada offers less selections on woman's handbags than in US.

I don't expect they put Birkin or Kelly online, because I understand it is very difficult..... but at least Hermes.com in Canada can offer Lindy, Berline, or Constance to sell.

Very Disappointed!!!

This happened to me last year. One attempt and that's all. I wasn't home on that day no door tag, no call, no nothing. When I called H.com a week after that wondering what had happened. The person told me it was returned to the warehouse. The merchandise didn't available any longer and the credit will be issued within a week.

Bag experience. One time buying from H.com and no more.

You would never see a Constance online in Canada or in the US. Almost impossible to get one in the store as it is. However, you will see a Lindy from time to time. Berline I don't know as I haven't paid that close attention to it.

Congrats panthere !! Must be aweful having to call so many times and have to wait. Due to the value of the item, I must say that we're even more impatient in terms of wait time. To have this happened is absurd. I know that Fedex had held my package twice and wouldn't return it to the shipper right away. I assume that the package is insured so why can't the package sit in fedex for an extra day to attempt a second delivery. Anyway, we all hate H rules, regardless of store or online. They just really not customer oriented.
 
I am surprised that people find h.com difficult. I live far away from any store, so I mostly order online. I have missed 2 shipments and the first was held overnight by Fedex and I called them to have the second rerouted to my office. They were really nice and accommodating and had me on hold while they talked to Fedex so everything would clear.

I made a small purchase a couple weeks ago and had it sent to my H boutique for the first time. I received an email on Monday letting me know that it was at the boutique and ready for pick up. The e-mail appeared to be from corporate, not the boutique itself. All told it took just over a week, which I thought was pretty good.
 
Hi ladies, may I ask anyone has used Vpost service to purchase from H.com? Is it cheaper or more expensive. I know that H is having free shipping for online purchase. My main concern is it safe??

Fed X left a door tag on my door the other day of an attempted delivery. They came back the next day with the package from H.com.

I thought perhaps this was a new thing with Hermes deliveries but this happened subsequent to your experiences.

Perhaps it's your Fed X delivery person who was too lazy to leave a door tag and bring back the package.
