I sent back an item for return last month and it took them almost two weeks to credit my card. Over a year ago I sent back a return and it took them a month to issue the credit to my card.

They are consistently inconsistent. I expect nothing less or more from them.
 
I returned an item to them last month and phoned after they'd received it to find out how long until they would credit my card. The girl said it was a different department and she didn't know and was unable to give me an answer. It was almost two weeks after that call that the credit showed up on my card. They did not send me an e-mail confirmation.
I'm glad you got your refund. So it seems like they just take longer than other online stores. I guess I'll just have to keep checking my card and see if the credit shows up.
 
Not the op but I too am having a hard time getting my refund for a shawl and belt that I returned 3 weeks ago. I finally called yesterday to ask about it. The rep said that refunds were taking longer because of the system update and that she would check on it and expedite my refund. It might help to call them.
The item I returned was also a belt. I did call and the rep told me the same thing, but I was still kinda worried. I feel better now that others on here are confirming the same thing about the delay due to their system update. Hopefully they get everything taken care of soon.

I just got a call from the rep I spoke to yesterday. She said she would call me back and she did. My refund should be processed today and show in the next couple of days according to her. I hope so since it was a large amount over 3,500 that I am hoping has cleared before I end up having to pay my bill.

What a stellar rep! I tend to talk to the same one (in the US) who seems, erm, less than willing to help the majority of the time. Glad your refund is getting sorted. Never had issues like this with the EU cs. Brilliant and prompt service across the pond.

I know I wasn't holding my breath waiting for the call, but she got it done.

That is nice of her to call you back. I'm glad your refund is being processed. I finally received two emails from them today; one saying they have received my item and one saying my refund is being processed.
 
Holy smokes! I just read through this entire thread and I'm freaking out a little. :wondering I ordered a BE Kelly wallet earlier this week, my first H.com purchase. I was wondering if I would actually get it and did receive a call the next day from CS. I wasn't able to answer so she left a message. I thought for sure they were going to tell me the order was cancelled, but thankfully she just said that the order was delayed but that it would be shipped out the next day (so maybe it's coming from a store?). I'm due to get it tomorrow and I'm not a little worried that it's a) not going to have all the plastic on; b) be the wrong color; c) be another item entirely or god only knows what! Fingers crossed that it's perfect! :sweatdrop:

My shipping hasn't updated to anything beyond "Preparing", but when my dh called them to find out what was going on they told him that it should be at the boutique today (doing an in store pick-up). An email was supposed to have been sent to us confirming this, but we haven't heard anything...it's not such an issue as we will call the boutique tomorrow to see if it showed up. It does seem unusual for a high end site to not offer an accurate tracking.
 
Shipping status via email is very slow. When an order is cancelled before its processed why does it take like 3 days 2 see the credit on the card thats ridiculous it should show immed like other places

I've found when I order something to be sent to my house they are dead on when e-mailing the info that the item has been shipped. And every time I've had something sent to the boutique, the website will say preparing, even after the item has been delivered to the boutique and I've picked it up!

They've still got a lot of work to do to get their communications sent in a timely manner.

Thanks, Audreylita, good to know! That's a bit silly, isn't it?
Today they are telling my dh that it will be there Monday (as per the boutique), he then spoke to someone in else (outside of that particular store, but able to communicate with the store) and they told him Monday as well. He called the website to find out why they had told him something different (was to be delivered yesterday) and the website told him it was due for delivery today! He called the second person that he spoke to, again, and they then said it would be there today but they had no idea what time, probably after 2pm--which is perfect for us. He was going to try to nail down a time and call us back. :roflmfao:
