Hello everyone! I’m hoping to get some help on what kind of bag to take on my family trip to Australia. It’s their summer season and sunscreen will be generously applied and worn nonstop. Would it be insane of me to take my new Ostrich Kelly 25? Is Epsom safer to wear? Togo? I also have a black box Constance but honestly don’t know how it’d react to sunscreen and let’s be honest, a little sweat, probably.
Hello from Australia! I think the answer to this depends on what you are planning to do and where you are planning to go during your trip. If you will be travelling in the far north, at the beach or generally outside the capital cities you might find something more casual and summery will suit the vibe better and cause less overall anxiety about damage from sunscreen. I quite often opt for non-H bags on holiday in January - current favourites include a BV raffia and leather intrecciato bag or a Saint Laurent raffia tote that feel more appropriate to the relaxed holiday season. My black bags get limited use at this time of year. If you plan to spend lots of time in Sydney, Melbourne etc you can really carry whatever you want though.

I *might* take Togo or Clemence near a beach, but usually I'm taking a raffia or cloth bag. The So Canvas is a nice beach bag IMO.

This is absolutely perfect, thank you!! I’ll be in Sydney most of the time! This group convinced me to roll with my Goyard canvas bags and I’ll bring my MK for special evenings

Happy everything to all!
Went to my local store for a special event (not sure what the event was about LOL as I went only to purchase FJ). Anywho, was speaking with my SA about a Constance croc I want for next year (or this end of this year and she thinks I may love a Constance lizard (black or ombré color). Anyone with a Constance lizard if you could please share a pic of your lovely bag I would really appreciate it. I love the Constance as an eternal bag (despite the big H as it was in style before it was “in”) I am just having a hard time between shiny croc (my SA thinks I should get a Kelly 25 in croc and my next exotic in Constance lizard), matte croc brown, and now adding lizard to the mix of options.

I made a picture and tried to upload for you, to get the idea of the combination I was taking about...but it the upload does not work- get a error message "file is too big"!, not sure why as it is a regular simple iphone picture...

I get the same issue. The workaround I use is to take a screenshot of the photo, crop it, and then try uploading again

Are there any tips to tie a twilly so the ends are aligned on both sides of the handle? I always end up redoing it multiple times and my knots are always different on both sides :confused1: :sleepy:

Nice, bag:) My tips- get to learn from the Hermes staff! I usually make them to do it for me (and it doesn't matter which store!) Some of SA are really good at this and can show you how to do it!:)

I fold the twilly in half and start at the middle of the handle, wrapping each side from there. That way the ends are usually pretty uniform. And if you need to adjust the wrapping, it's only on one half versus having to start all over. Hope that helps!
