I don’t think that lovely bag is priced well but then it’s my understanding that this reseller tends to be on the (cough) high side.

ETA: They are more rare but I see them pop up once in a while. But not in mint condition. The last one I saw was much cheaper but condition was “floppy”

I don’t know about pricing, but dalmatian buffalo is prone to uneven yellowing which makes it a pass for many people. From what I can see this specific bag already has some uneven yellowing on the edges and handles. If it has sat on the site for a long time, the yellowing may have gotten worse since the bag was photographed.

I was just offered a Birkin 35 in a rich brown color with the fringe on the sides earlier today. Like the one off the runway except I think with palladium hw. (I think the runway one had gold.) I’m think I’ll scoop that one up for now.

I tried to search earlier to see what some of the other colorways etc look like but there was nothing except the Birkins with the fringe on the front and runway photos. Like this one (all photo credit to the ig page in photo or photographer who took the photo).

Agree 100%. I’ve never seen a vintage H Dalmatian bag that wasn’t yellowed. Having said that, I commissioned a bespoke buffalo dalmation bag from Duret (I was able to choose from three Hermes quality BD hides), and it’s incredibly durable. I cannot imagine it yellowing. And, when I asked Duret what to do in case of yellowing, he simply said, bring it back and I will fix it. So I wonder what H Spa could or would do for BD. For those crazy prices, I would not risk it.

Hi everyone - new kid here and I’m not sure if I’m posting in the right place so apologies if not. I was just looking for some advice on value. My mom is giving my sister a birkin and wants to give me the equivalent amount in cash. These are the only photos I have.

It’s a 2005 birkin 25, not certain of the leather. It was in perfect condition with the plastic still on until my sister borrowed it a couple of times, you can see a small mark on the front but I think that will come off with minimal effort. The plastic is still on the feet.

If I can get a sense of the value before my sister used it and in its present condition that would be amazing. I’ve spent hours searching and found such variation in pricing I’m not confident about what to say. I thought feedback from the experts would also be a neutral perspective.

I don’t think that’s a birkin 25..looks a little big to be 25. But maybes it’s the angle of the photo.

I just had to laugh at most of your posts - what a clever funny group that is so much fun!! I actually bought two of these when they were out - one black bdg and one fuschia zebra Pegasus. Didn’t even know at the time what I would do with them, but I love tiny things. And then… my two tpm’s came home and they are perfect as a tiny tie on them. I’m actually wish they would release a few more. Happy Saturday!!!
