it's so tame now compared to some years ago where people were literally fighting, calling each other names, being racist, etc. Megs, Vlad, Swanky, and all the mods had to step in. lol
There's still a fair amount of the last....when I thought that Cardi B thread was about to be resurrected

Has anyone seen a tag like this before on their leather purchases? I was told that's how Thailand products come sometimes. Just curious. I’ve never seen that, but I’m fairly new to Hermes. TIA!!

Not in Thailand, but leather shoes I purchased from my country’s online store came with the tag. Removal of the tag would void the ability to return.

I’ve bought with these tags, I think maybe a silver bracelet? I always thought it’s because it’s a new stock and hasn’t been opened before? And I’m from the US.

Does Hermes consistently engrave with the "5" or does it sometimes engrave with "1/2" for shoes?
I purchased these Chypre sandals on Vestaire and the sizing says 37 1/2 but my other Chypre sandals says 375. I just checked a pair of croc Chypre sandals on Fashionphile and it says "1/2" but the majority have the "5". TIA.

People being people. I’m glad we’re improving.
We have but in a couple of the threads which got super active in the past couple of days, I can’t help but wonder why people are so sensitive or even cruel.

In one thread a poster doggedly goes after an individual even though she knows the latter is a member of this forum (no prizes which thread I’m referencing), and in another there are people acting somewhat entitled yet not realising or accepting feedback that her approach could be what’s affecting her ability to purchase.

Thé paris thread had so much potential - would love to see photos of the displays for example, bags yes but also homeware and other things. When I was last in Paris I took lots of photos and posted them. Sadly the Paris thread is now just verging on the unhinged. I ve stopped reading it a while back.
Definitely time to start a new thread about enjoying our bags and where we use them.
I really love this idea and try to contribute when I can (dispersed in various non-popular threads like cheap outfit, B35). But I do notice, it doesn’t garner much 'hysteria' as other threads and - unrelated to the earlier point-, there are not so many outfit + bag shots anymore. I love to be inspired by others!

Oh well :shrugs:
