I was at new bond street earlier and was not impress. My friend was looking for a specific item, and we were told to go upstair and back downstair several time. Despite the fact that we asked many SA, they just tell us to go up/down or ignore us :( At the end we manage to talk to one SA that was nice enough to help.

Hello ladies. I have a question about the Hermes store on New Bond Street in London. I am planning to get a Jypsiere 28 in black and a Picotin 18 in black as well. Will it be easy for me to get those there? Thank you in advance!

A friend of mine was visiting London 2 weeks ago. She bought a few things (shoes, wallet etc) at NBS store then asked for B but they didn't have any but the SA asked her to come back in a few days in case something turns up in a delivery. She went back in a few days later and got B35 so She bought some charms and twillies to go with her bag. I believe having a purchase history really helped her score a bag!

Has anyone ever scored b/k/c at the Royal Exchange store? It's a small store I know so not sure if they ever get these bags in stock?

I was offered a ghillies K there a few years ago. I must be the only one on this forum that doesn't like them (for myself), so I turned it down. I don't shop there very often though, just like to pop in when I'm in the City and have bought a few scarves and a bag there.

Thanks! Very helpful!

I have seen Jypsieres on display there in the past. You might also want to try the Hermès section in Selfridges as it is a short walk from NBS and every time I've been there they have had at least one Jypsiere on display.

Sloane Street and Harrods are worth a try if you don't have any luck at NBS.

Dear fellow TPF-ers, I've tried to search for a thread regarding getting birkin in Edinburgh but couldn't find any so i'll just post my question here.
I'll be travelling to Edinburgh & London, do you think I have a better chance to score a birkin as walk in inEdinburgh? Has anyone ever scored any birkin from the Edinburgh store? Thanks.

Hi, I'll be travelling to Europe next month, 1st stop is London, then Paris & Munich. May I know if I happen to get something in Hermes or other branded goods, do I claim the VAT when I leave London? I'll be leaving by Eurostar to Paris, can I still claim? Any tips/advice would be very much appreciated:) TIA!

No, you claim it when you leave Europe. You can process the VAT refund for purchases from multiple countries at your last departure point in Europe. Be sure to go early to the airport as the likes to get a customs stamp and refund can be long.

Thanks for your reply! I didn't know that with Brexit, we are still able to buy stuff in UK and claim VAT when we leave the last European country.
