Hi fellow TPF-ers!

Just wanted to share my score at the Sloane Street store on Friday (01/07)! Like many others here, I arrived in Paris and the new appointment system has just been implemented over the weekend and after trying my luck for 9 times across three days, appointments after appointments and being the first in the queue since 8am every single day, I didn't manage to score anything except being shown a Bolide 27 in Rouge Grenat which after much thought, I decided to let it go.

Upon returning to London to catch my flight home on the next day, I decided to give Sloane Street a try since it was just a street away from my apartment. At my first try, a kind SA said there was no deliveries today and they have not been getting any leather goods. Well I thanked him and left for more shopping nearby. On the next day which is also my last day in London, I thought lets give it a one last try and I'm glad i did!

A senior SA approached me when I put my shopping and my bag on the stool and said to me "Hi how can I help you?" I didn't want to play around the bush and told him I queued a couple of times in Paris and was exhausted from the queue. Was just hoping to see if I was lucky enough to see something I like here in London. He then said "I have an Ostrich Birkin 30 in natural colour, would you like to see it?" Of course the rest was history, I love it!

London made my day and I brought home with me a Pale Beige Ostrich Birkin 30cm in gold hardware! I hope the rest of you here gets a lucky score too!

Congrats!! And since the pound dropped after brexit, you got it slightly cheaper than a month ago ;)

Congrats and just pays off to try! Never hurts to try :)

Oh wow, congrats, I'm going to Paris at the end of this month purely because I've been unable to score a Birkin at the Sloane store, although by the sounds of the system, I'll probably have more luck if I just keep trying in London!

Going to London this coming Monday. Hoping to get a Jige clutch or Kelly cut. Pls let me know if anyone sees one. Thanks!
I've seen the Jige on display at different visits to the New Bond Street store. I've not seen a Kelly Cut on display, I'd love to try one on myself! :p But do ask if you don't see the Jige on display as they sometimes have it in stock at the back. Good luck! :)

Wow congrats!! May I know if the SA just gave you the B 30 without having you to buy anything before that? Just bought as walk-in?
Thanks.

With the sudden drop of exchange rate, I wonder if the demand is so high that there wont be much stock left, especially in Heathrow. Anyone visited the shops recently?
Do the shop help deliver your purchase to the apartment?
Can I call the shop to check stock in advance?
So many question! Thanks a lot!

I was in the New Bond St store last week. No luck in the leather department. Stock is indeed very low. I saw many ppl got turned down, including me. [emoji17]
Shop was quite bz though so i dont think calling is a good idea.
Tried to get a pair of Twilly and there is none, not even 1 in stock. Can you believe it?
Only bought a scarf so i just took it with me. Not sure about the delivery service.

I also went to Selfridges. I don't quite like the rude SA in Selfridges so I left without even asking.

Hi, I've heard in another thread that some stores will sell you a Birkin after you have spent a certain amount in that particular store. Does anyone know if this is the case in any of the London stores and if so what the spend is? Thanks all :)

I went to the Bond Street store last weekend. It was busy but after a while a sales assistant came over to assist. I told her that I wanted a Birkin bag and wanted to check the availability. She said they did not have any in stock and said that there was no longer a wait list. She said it was on a first come first serve basis. She was very polite and overall my experience was really nice.
