It’s important that newer members know this is not the norm and the concensus is that Selfridges H experience has really changed in the last 2 years with the new manager you refer to. It is very hard to be offered bags, even with commitment to brand in all ways

Yes absolutely! I referred an acquaintance of mine to Selfridges as she wasn’t having much luck with her original home store - in two years she got a mini Lindy, a MK (!!) and a B25.
It really is about finding the right SA not only how much you spend.
I don’t really spend that much but I’ve gotten a B30, B25, offered a few mini Evie’s (they are not for me, I actually bought and returned one!), two P18’s and last Saturday got my birthday present. So it’s not all disappointment haha!
Do the boutiques have more stock now days ? I don't live in London ,am up north and hardly any boutiques except in Manchester .I see a lot of bags online almost lasting a whole day at times and more are replenished every day ,unlike previous times where by it would disappear in a blink . Even the consignment have so much stock like Bagista with exorbitant prices ( doubt they shift easily ) Is the Hermes bubble slowly bursting !!!
So today is my birthday and I said I would do my unboxing!
After three SAs in less than a year, I was a little bummed. It’s also been a really difficult period in life the last 18 months - my husband has been going through a really tough time and I’ve been under a lot of pressure and stress. I just wanted a nice birthday.
Well, my new SA took a lot of time to get to know me in a very short time (less than a month). I’m also awful with surprises. I don’t make it easy.
Anyway, I saw my SA last Friday and mentioned my bestie was visiting from Italy the next day. He told me to swing by and he’d like to meet her.
So we did - they met and it was lovely. He gave me a box of Pierre Herme macarons (my favourite) and a birthday card and I thought that would be it.
Then he says he has something to show me, he isn’t sure if I’ll be disappointed but he tried his best (I said I wanted a MK haha).
He brings out a box and my mind is racing.. I think it’s a Constance box. But I’m not sure, I’ve never seen one in real life in store. Then I’m thinking, he said I might be disappointed.. maybe it’s an Elan? Not in the colour I want?
He starts unboxing.. holy s***! I’m looking for what’s wrong with the bag, where is the fault? It’s the right colour? The hardware? The style?
It’s perfect. Constance 18 in Gold with GHW.
It’s not a Mini Kelly, but I don’t care. I’ve wanted a C18 for a while but only in this colourway and I’ve had a hard time finding Gold/GHW in any bag!

Yes, I have - but my SA seems to want to run my purchases through my account not my partners - so I am wondering if there was a reason for this!
