Does anyone know if when you place an online with your SA whilst you’re in the store, does the item have to be delivered to the store and then collect it or can the SA arrange delivery to your home address and the SA still get the commission? I’m only enquiring about UK stores please as I know it may be different for other countries. Thanks 😊

1. If your SA puts in the order, he/she/they will get commission

2. You may have the item shipped to your home or to the store.

3. If you return the item either from your home or to collect in-store, it will be treated as a online transaction and a refund will therefore take place after the item has been retuned (online) and not for credit in-store. This may sound like the better option, and it is if you're not buying anything in the near future, but if you did want to exchange next time you went in, you'd have to pay for the item you actually want in-store and (separately) wait for a refund for the original item.

Saw a lady today picking up a B25 in what looked like Craie or Nata with GHW (it was an off white-ish colour) in Selfridges London today.

I was offered a Mini Evelyne in Beige Marfa but with PHW - I know there’s not a lot of hardware on the bag so it shouldn’t matter, but I just don’t know how I feel about it. It makes the colour of the bag look much more grey putty coloured, I think GHW would make it look warmer and more beige.

I’m torn, not sure what to do! Sounds crazy but I really obsessing over a Picotin 18 Gold/GHW and I can’t score one on the website or in store to save my life.

I personally don’t think you should feel torn when spending thousands. I know Evelyn’s “aren’t expensive” but they are still $2k in the US at least.

And I agree with your color analysis.

I should have mentioned, I have a B25 in Beige Marfa with GHW and I much prefer the colour with the gold than PHW.

Also it’s my birthday in a few weeks, I think maybe I want an orange box for the sake of the “occasion” rather than this particular bag. I’m leaning towards declining (I have until Friday to make up my mind). I’m also super sick today so perhaps it’s delirium taking over!

You shouldn’t spend money just for the hell of it. I think you answered the question for yourself. You clearly don’t like the bag and should decline it. Nobody should have to convince you to buy it.

I picked up a mini evelyn for my mum in beige marfa with GHW. I really like the warmth the gold hardware brings out. I think you should wait for the right combo.

The website has been floooded with picotin's and in the loop's recently! Usually un the afternoons. In my opinion when I've gotten what I didn't LOVE, I always still wanted that first love. Ive seen the Evelyne you're discussing on the website it's nice and practical too but with hermes,, follow your heart...

You are all right - if it doesn’t fill me with excitement and I need convincing, I shouldn’t get it.
I’m super sick and been going through a tough time as of late. I think I’m just spending money to feel some joy.
I’m definitely going to wait it out. Thanks for talking sense!
Maybe an alternative is getting dressed up and going to a nice dinner/fancy tea/spa day - doing something luxurious without having to be talked into a bag. Less money! No regrets.
