This is super helpful. So, hypothetically speaking, if I get reached out that they do have a bag for me, and if I can be there within a week, is that a safe plan? Would "within a week" be reasonable?

I am looking for a B40, which may not be largely sought by most people.... Thank you in advance!

2nd question: The accounts in UK and US are not cross-checked, right? (I know that the US-French accounts are not cross-checked, including QBs.)
I’ve heard London is 48 hours as a way of cracking down on tourists being on the wishlist. I’ve also heard many stories of SAs refusing to enter a wish once they realize the client’s address is in a different country.

I agree - 48 hrs is also the timeframe I’ve been told.

@acrowcounted and @krackersmaracas - Thanks. In London, no pre-spending is OK, right? I think I can make it to London within 48 hours (from JFK airport).

Yes you can always ask, but it’s not guaranteed that you will get a bag in the 12 months. I know people with prespend and they have needed to renew their wishes a couple of years. The other complication is getting the wishlist appointment if you have no prespend. I have heard a few times in the boutique “it is not possible to make a wishlist today Madam, our next available wishlist appointment is not until xxx (insert month 3 months away)” or “our wishlist is full at the moment and we have no available appointments for several months”.

Congrats on your bag! Has anyone else had any luck this year getting a quota bag in London? I only ask as I’ve been waiting for my second wish for 16 months and have a decent purchase history. I’m not complaining as I know these bags are super in demand- just looking for a little encouragement.
I received my B30 wish this month! It's my first quota bag and I couldn't believe it when I received the email. The email stated it was reserved for me for 5 days. I wanted a bright colour, which means I had less competition, but they also probably receive less stock of non-neutrals. I waited about 14 months (my first wish expired), and only started regularly spending with the same SA about 6 months ago.

Thank you! That's super helpful!
@pegase_h looks like there might be some different rules to what I’ve previously understood 👆
Thank you. I think it all varies by individual experience. I still appreciate your experiences!! :)

I was able to make my wishlist by just walking in and asking the SA after she helped me with my purchase

Congratulations on your new beauty. Hearing your story gives me hope.

not nationality but residency
doesn't that happen anyway?
Yup, Hermes always favored its locals for bag offers. For those who didn’t have a local store, there was always Paris.
i was once offered a (new at the time) geta at CP; not on my own merits, but bc the SA struck up a conversation with DH about Alange & Soehne watches. It was interesting to me bc the same exact bag was display only at another location in London.
