May I know how hard to get Mini Lindy in London? I have 2 wishlist bag been fulfilled at my home stor. But why so difficult to get Mini Lindy? Anyone got your Mini Lindy lately ?
I recently got the Mini Lindy in Gold with PHW and it took around 5 months after meeting my lovely SA (Although I had actually been looking for this bag for about 6-7 months prior).

Gorgeous I love the mini Lindy. What boutique was this?
This was at NBS - you can find my original post here
It's been a bit of a rollercoaster journey with my SA leaving Bond Street and then struggling to find a new SA until a few months ago at Selfridges. I have been trying to get my hands on a Mini Lindy for a while and today when I popped into the boutique to pick up a couple of pieces that I had requested, my new lovely SA asked me to follow him and low and behold he had a Mini Lindy in the exact specs I wanted waiting for me. He said it had come in earlier on in the week and held it for me and kept it as a surprise. I am over the moon with the bag but also grateful to have finally met an SA that I click with.

If he’s a tourist that’s normal. If I want to get something in London, I text my SA - she tells me if it’s there or not, if it is - it’s on reserve for me immediately and if not she checks if it’s in stock to be ordered and I come in to pay. I never wait. I don’t even queue if there is one- just tell the person handling the queue that my SA is expecting me and they let me right in- then I wait with a drink till she’s free. The wishlist in Germany is NOT a guarantee. If you read the thread, women had their wishes expire or get cancelled after waiting 1.5-2 years. And so it seems only difference is it’s much harder to even place a wish and then after you have one same as UK- still no guarantee you get the bag.
This is my exact experience and I also shop in the UK, I text ahead of time and go straight into the boutique to wait for my sa.

Hi everyone,
I am planning to travel to the UK soon. Has anyone been offered a quota bag on a short stay? Should I go into the boutique and try my chances? OR is it a NO quota bag for tourist kind of stores :( I am very excited to visit UK and Hermes store in UK also :)

Thankssss

Generally it will be a “no”. As always, exceptions can be made - if you are a VIP in another store, if you are spending 6 figures in a single visit, etc - but for most customers, the only way to receive a quota bag in London is to request a bag as part of a wishlist appointment, and then wait patiently for the next 12 months for it to be filled (or not)…

Interesting. So your NBS reserved a bag for you? I thought NBS and CP both say they can’t reserve any leather bags??
I think @Build-a-B-K-collection put it perfectly - it really is down to your relationship with your SA.

As I mentioned in my original post, I had no idea the bag was there as I went to the boutique to pick up some other pieces and was surprised with the bag. From what my SA had told me, the bag came in on the Monday and they held it until Thursday when I could come to the boutique and they knew I would take it as it was in the exact combo that I asked for.

Edited to add - Apologies, just realised I said the wrong boutique in my previous response, but the bag was actually from Selfridges per my original post.

I was in a store today and overheard an SA telling his client that Constances are still being given to those who previously had a wishlist for them, so anyone else hoping to get offered one as a non-quota bag and didn’t have a wishlist for a C will have to wait a while. Maybe this is useful to those looking for a Constance in London
Yes, this happened to me late last year.

I can confirm I asked my SA today as well who confirms the above. They still haven’t fulfilled all Constance wishes yet.
