Probably some of the approximation of the above tbh...
Lol.....

Might be a good time for me to get my feather (I mean Hermes) hat out and start praying to the Hermes gods.

Has anyone had any success recently getting a Constance from CP? I'm just wondering whether they've started offering it to general customers or if they are still fulfilling outstanding wishes from when the Constance was still part of the quota.
I did in May - Lime Constance 24 (new 1-24 style with the mirror and single gusset), palladium hardware. It was not a wish list bag or considered part of my quota.

May I know how hard to get Mini Lindy in London? I have 2 wishlist bag been fulfilled at my home stor. But why so difficult to get Mini Lindy? Anyone got your Mini Lindy lately ?
It is a popular style so yes it’s difficult to get. I got mine in August, before that I was offered another one in a different colourway in May. I might add that I hadn’t actually requested a Mini Lindy (or any bags for that matter), my store just felt like it could be something I might like and very kindly offered the different options out of the blue.

Unlike the QBs and the wish system, which seem to allocate bags based on mysterious criteria, mini Lindy is one of the bags that you need a good relationship in order to get one (or try your luck on the website!). Have you tried asking your SA?

Would this mean that it is ok to shop with different SAs in CP, then? E.g. if I went to the boutique and my SA wasn't there that day, it would be ok to buy from another SA? It takes me an hour to get to the boutique and my SA doesn't always respond to my emails asking what days he will be working that week. Thx
Pretty much the same here. Been told I need to see different SAs for different departments.

So how do they choose who gets a QB? Is it really just looking through client wishlists and matching them up? Does the length of time you've been shopping at the boutique play a big part in them wanting to fulfill your wish?
I do think the bit in bold is the beauty of the very small if not nonexistent role of SA relationship (and spend profile) in whether a wish gets fulfilled or not.

As for how the bags are allocated: I’ve been told different things at different stores. Some insist on “the system” making the decision and no SAs are involved or have any say; some say it’s their Leather dept that decide; and yet some have had their SAs tell them it was the SA who used their influence to get that specific bag. Heck, a Harrods SA even told me once that it was “Paris” who decided, so no-one or system in London can influence. Who knows?

Who knows indeed. Thank you for your insight. I shall do my best to remain calm and patient.

May I know what colour did they offered you? I have spoken to my SA since early this year and I only interested on neutral colour. She did say keep an eye or me…. So just be patience , I guess . Never get from online even spotted it online , not fast enough , I believe .

Haha… the version that I heard is the SAs have no right to involve and said anything .

how about the SO, I got my SO bag few months ago. May I know, how they select the clients and get the 2nd chance to do the SO? When I ask for 2nd SO, the SA sound like , want to give other clients have a chance too….

The whole quota bag allocation business is as clear as mud, but I have been told there is a team allocating bags, yet the same SA said they had a hand in getting me my quota bag. No idea what that means but indicates some level of influence possible in perhaps presenting your profile to the individuals making the decisions and creating the case for you. Maybe. Perhaps. I’m hypothesising based on the very little I have been told.

I was told at Harrods Hermès Femme (first floor with RTW, shoes and high jewelry) by a senior SA that they “prioritize their clients”. It sounded to me as the purchase history at least in that department matters.

I agree. Harrod’s Femme prioritises their clients as they as a department have a different allocation of bag stock from the ground floor area. I am pretty sure these are not the regular bags and require much higher prespend. The bags they have offered me there are more the Limited Editions, rarer combos and exotics, to match the Fine Jewellery and the runway RTW pieces they tend to stock.

I’ve had the same experience. I definitely think my SA influenced my offer on my QB. In my opinion I think the wish list system works and you will get your bag at some point (as we have read on this forum) but some SA’s have made it happen sooner.

I’ve heard from an SA the other day that they’re no longer allowed to hold items for clients. Apparently, Hermès is currently doing inventory in several London’s stores, because many things were misplaced or accumulated which made SA’s work harder and the availability software inefficient. Does this mean that non quota bags or in demand items are available on first come basis? I’m sure there will be a way to cut the corners for some clients but would be interesting to know whether there is more stock out there for walk ins.
