I am so happy for you! I remember your hunt for the Mini Lindy since the end of last year, and I’m so glad it worked out! After trying for so long and getting this beauty in such a classic colour, at least the wait paid off massively!

You’re so lucky you hit it off with a great S.A., who was willing to put the bag aside for you. Compared to CP which is my home boutique, I’ve always been told I need to come in and try my luck if there’s any available.

My S.A. also left with no warning, so I now have to restart the entire relationship process again, which is no fun.
Please tell me your SA is not the super charming leather specialist (not gonna name him), because that's what happened to me also, no warning, just poof. Guess I wasn't a memorable customer after all XD

Has anyone had any success recently getting a Constance from CP? I'm just wondering whether they've started offering it to general customers or if they are still fulfilling outstanding wishes from when the Constance was still part of the quota.
I only saw not recently during my visit at CP that a lady was offered a very bright coloured Constance, of which she tried on and in the end, declined. I think it was a previous wishlist being fulfilled because that day my SA said and only offered me various Herbag, a Picotin and I quote 'you just missed a mini Lindy earlier this morning, but you wouldn't like it, it is pink'.

Morning all! I am soo happy as I finally made a new wishlist and sound a lovely new SA. I have a solid purchase history over the last 18 months at the store but now I have a fresh wishlist, what do you recommend for buying tactic? Obviously I know I should only. buy what I love but I am dying for my QB and want to give myself the best chance. Any tips for spending profile at CP?! Thank you!! X

From my experience, spending profiles (and SA relationships) at CP don't actually play that much of a role in getting your wishlist fulfilled. Additionally, if you already have a solid purchase history over 18 months like you said then no need to stress about any "buying tactic" What bag specs are you hoping for as it might influence the likelihood of the wish being fulfilled?

Don't even think about it.

I'm wishing for a Kelly 28 in a classic colour. I love this advice so thank you - I have my eye on a few things so I'll just shop as usual!! :)

Yeah love this advice too I watch so many videos where it says you must have a great relationship and you must buy x y, and z so it's so refreshing to hear your expert insights. I am also buying what I love whilst being on the wishlist for a Kelly at NBS

Would this mean that it is ok to shop with different SAs in CP, then? E.g. if I went to the boutique and my SA wasn't there that day, it would be ok to buy from another SA? It takes me an hour to get to the boutique and my SA doesn't always respond to my emails asking what days he will be working that week. Thx

I think that should be fine. I was looking for a new SA in CP, but I was shepherded between different SAs in different departments during the same visit, as they said that different SAs would need to assist me for the individual items.

I'm not sure how true that is, but I echo @_gelato_ sentiment - it's down to the store rather than the individual SA.

Pretty much the same here. Been told I need to see different SAs for different departments.

So how do they choose who gets a QB? Is it really just looking through client wishlists and matching them up? Does the length of time you've been shopping at the boutique play a big part in them wanting to fulfill your wish?

Probably some of the approximation of the above tbh...
