For the past two years it was random and the SAs had no say over it (at least that what’s they told the customers). I got invited to the one in 2021 at the Kensington Palace Pavilion and the stock was amazing (shoes were 70% off) but the queues were horrendous and too many resellers. It was organized by a third party called Arlettie that specializes on designer sample sales. Last year I didn’t get an invite to Ally Pally sale but went as Arlettie’s subscriber. I made a significant purchase in August 2021 at a boutique in London and no purchases in 2022 so, in my opinion, the invitation depends on your spending.

Agreed, I got invited last September. I Made a few decent purchases. Not invited this year… not been able to buy anything as never any stock haha

Re: the sales.
I got invited to both Kensington (which was great) and Alexandra Palace (not very good)via my SA but the Arlette invitation has 'Hermes client' on it from my memory.
As previously mentioned too many large groups of resellers with suitcases.
I found AP sale a bit of a waste of time although I did get 2 wonderful scarves.

I would say it's been over a year, however I have only been to London once and Manchester once. They told me no point doing a wishlist as if it comes in they will only hold it for a short time and I live seven hours drive away. I look on the website, but all I see is their new advertising and I was looking way before that.

I don’t think the sale invites are out yet, I just picked up a B40 horseshoe from London so I’m hoping to receive one this year. I’m not sure what the cut off date is for purchases. I was invited to the 21 and 22 sales

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster journey with my SA leaving Bond Street and then struggling to find a new SA until a few months ago at Selfridges. I have been trying to get my hands on a Mini Lindy for a while and today when I popped into the boutique to pick up a couple of pieces that I had requested, my new lovely SA asked me to follow him and low and behold he had a Mini Lindy in the exact specs I wanted waiting for me. He said it had come in earlier on in the week and held it for me and kept it as a surprise. :love: I am over the moon with the bag but also grateful to have finally met an SA that I click with.

I am so happy for you! I remember your hunt for the Mini Lindy since the end of last year, and I’m so glad it worked out! After trying for so long and getting this beauty in such a classic colour, at least the wait paid off massively!

You’re so lucky you hit it off with a great S.A., who was willing to put the bag aside for you. Compared to CP which is my home boutique, I’ve always been told I need to come in and try my luck if there’s any available.

My S.A. also left with no warning, so I now have to restart the entire relationship process again, which is no fun.

Thank you so much! :smile: I'm so happy that I finally managed to get my hands on it. I had no idea it was happening so soon and in the exact combo that I wanted as we only talked about the new season colours last week and he said that PHW isn't as common with gold.

My old SA was the assistant manager at BS and left with no warning too! (I actually bumped into her at Chanel, where she now works). Like you say, it isn't fun trying to find a new SA (Some have ghosted me and others wouldn't share their contact details with me for a number of different reasons) but feeling blessed that I finally met someone that is super nice and that I click with. I guess as the saying goes you have to kiss a few frogs to find your prince. Hopefully you'll find a new SA that you click with soon. Sending you good vibes!

Glad you found an Sa you get along with ,Hermes Sas are really strange beings .Two I met and in fact one recognised me for years before but absolutely of no use .Second became friendly but never answers any emails ,third answers emails but never about bags .Totally fed up of Hermes honestly .I live far from a store .Nevwr had any issues with Chanel Sa ,all are really helpful and I am in UK btw :-(
