Hi l really want to get Kelly to go or mini Evelyne my friend said if l buy fine jewellery or rtw l could get this sooner from my Sa ?Currently my sa know l want those bags and will keep an eye out ,but will that speed up a process
My understanding is that there is no guarantee of you being offered those bags any sooner even if you do purchase heavily from those categories.
Your SA knows what you want so just pop by as regularly as you are able, be nice, dont hound him or her with requests,
Buy things you love but dont buy from specific categories thinking you'll 'jump the queue'.
There are popular bags and there will always be someone who is spending more than you.
In a nutshell.
Buy want you love and within your budget.
Don't buy strategically in order to get the bag on your list faster.
Stock levels are low and if you are desperate just buy from a reputable reseller or pre-owned.

I recommend checking the website regularly, you might have more luck there than with the SA.

I’ve requested a K to go a very long time ago. I have a very good relationship with my SA and still not received one. I don’t think it’s based just on purchasing RTW or fine jewellery. They are very popular and others may be on the waiting list longer. Also, the colour or hardware you may have requested isn’t available. I’m not advocating buying resale but I saw there were 2 brand new K to go on the reseller website Sellier
Knightsbridge earlier. Neither were a colour or gold hardware I requested so am still waiting for what I want.

Today i visited hermes harrods- they had their practiced speech down perfectly…it will be 2 hours for an appointment. In the end it was 1 hour and had to hear the standard hermes speech about no bags or slg bc august however she did say afterwards that best bet is to visit on a Monday or Tuesday because that is when there is the best stock for slg or bags.

I did find a matching twilly for my bag. I bought it’s sister in cdg.

After being offered many combos that weren’t right and due to the price point I ended up buying my desired combo from a reputable seller, what I’m actually about to do as soon as I find the mini Lindy I want. Wallets to go are too expensive for one to have in many different colours…

BTW London peeps, ATM, if you want downstairs at NBS you'll be fine but if you want upstairs there's a queue outside as well as sitting around upstairs even before midday.

I would recommend you make an appointment with your SAs before you go and send pics/codes/sizes, or if you don't have one already, hit the store 10am.
Additionally to PT’s suggestions, best not to visit when pushed for time. It just creates lots of stress for everybody. Make it an enjoyable experience to go in browse, wait and shop in a leisurely manner. The bag displays are gorgeous btw. As well as the greens and grey/blue in his photo, they now have a new selection: some pinks (pale mauve? I think) and pale yellow. I tried to take some reference photos but it was super busy.

Can anyone chime in on picking up online orders in store? Would you have to queue as well? Not sure if this is store dependent as well.

I'm visiting next month but I'd rather order items I want online and pick up them up in store if that means less time waiting or queuing. Thanks!

You can only pick up online orders from NBS, Cadogan Place and Royal Exchange. I’ve collected online orders from CP before and didn’t need to queue as the cashier could facilitate it and so I didn’t need to wait for an SA. Not sure about NBS as they seem to be very busy all the time, but you can tell the host that you’re there to pick up an order and they’ll direct you to the right person. RE is usually quiet but only open on Mon-Fri.

Thank you! This is very helpful.

Not sure about the aforementioned ‘cooling off period’, but wishlists still expire after 8 months, not 1 year as someone posted earlier. A friend of mine created her wish last week and the SA set it to expire next April (so in 8 months). Or maybe it depends on the boutique?

How strange! I was the one who posted about the expiry date changing to a year. That’s what my SA said to me and another SA said the same to a family member. Maybe each boutique operates differently? My family were able to create a new wish on the next visit after receiving their offer - no 6 month cooling off period
