Hi!
I went into Hermes Sloane yesterday and fell in love with the Pic 18. I'm going to Paris next week so going to try and make an appointment (so I can claim that 20% VAT back!!), but can anyone tell me how much the 18 is just now, please? I didn't have time to wait on an appointment yesterday to find out.

Thank you!! This would be mu first bag purchase from Hermes and it's all I can think about right now haha
Hi, I am from the US, but was in Paris (got a bag appt at FSH) and in London (shopped NBS and CP RTW and was offered a Getta) last month. If you see a P18 you love, IMO, buy it now. It is very difficult to get a lottery bag appt, and I believe the appt is only way to get even a NQ leather bag in Paris. If you manage to get an appt, there is no guarantee that Paris will have what you want. As per the Paris thread, stock is currently very low. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/paris-trip-for-hermes.457159/
JMO though, and YMMV. Happy shopping.

Hi guys I wanted to know if anyone’s had the same experience as me at the London NBS Hermes….Ive been on the wish list for a Birkin for over a year, my SA just says they’re had limited supply etc etc do u guys think I should just go to another store? I meannn at the end of the day its not an endangered species its just a bag made of leather……its just annoying
Per this thread, wishlists expire after 8 months so you don’t actually have any item on the wishlist unless you’ve renewed it. Best to go into the store, place a new wish, and do some shopping. The London company line seems to be that bags are only offered in list order, however overwheling customer experiences seem to indicate that London isn’t much different than the rest of the world, ie those that spend often and significantly in non bag categories magically have their wish fulfilled soonest…

Hiya thanks for your reply :) I didn’t explain that I did renew my list and in total Ive been waiting more than a year. Just wanted to know if the wait has been the same for other people at NBS who don’t want to buy for the sake of getting a quota bag….which I’m not

I’m guessing if you aren’t purchasing other items, you will be waiting a very very long time. It’s not impossible in London, but it’s still “just a wish” and they prioritize spending clients.

I have been waiting forever for my bag! We just renewed it for the third time. In the meanwhile, I did get the bag in a (very) diff colour + was offered a larger size but declined. So yeah…london feels tough atm even as someone who spends regularly

I agree with the comments here. I’m not a big spender but I like to think I’m a regular spender. I’ve purchased shoes/entry level bags - fairly regularly. Every 2 months and I’m in touch with my SA every month, but still waiting for an offer. Been 1 year now. Feels like stock is just so low.

Thats really interesting to know as you seem to be doing all the right things…..I’m not in touch with my SA every month as I wouldn’t know what to say to her…may be thats where I’m going wrong

Wow 3! Just out of interest is your wish quite restricted? I.e, only one size of your preferred style, certain leather, hardware and limited colours? I haven’t received a QB (wish created Dec 2021) but they were always saying be open to leathers, hardware, colours and sizes for greater chances.

Hey! i need some guidance. i really want the birkin 30 in ostrich, how can i get this from store. Does it have to be a special order and can anyone go to hermes store and place an order for this bag or do you have to be offered this service.

Hi! As I see on your profile you are based in the UK like myself. You would have to proceed by creating a wish with an SA in store. When I initially made my wish the SA said it is possible to add exotic leathers to the list. The wish lasts for 8 months and if you are not offered the bag you have to go back to the store to renew it.

In terms of special order AKA “A La Carte” order this would have to be offered to you as a service from your SA. Where you pick the bag, size, structure, leather, colour, stitching, hardware etc.

The other way is going to Paris which is not far for us via Eurostar. You need to obtain an appointment via the website (not the easiest task) and you would ask for your dream bag (Ostrich B30) there and hope for the best haha

Let us know how it goes!
