I’d like to know too. I went to see my SA beginning of Dec for a black GHW Kelly belt but no stock so she said she can order it in and I’ll get an email once it’s in store. I’m not sure if they request this via the estore or notify paris etc. I haven’t heard back from her so I was considering popping in as she may have forgot. She did say no payment required now once it arrives you pay
In my experience, for items not in stock, depending on availability, SAs can order for you either from their warehouse (takes a few days to arrive), online from H.com when you are physically in the store (you pay upfront and also the items arrive pretty quickly) or reserve from the stock they’ve ordered already from Paris (no telling when the items will arrive, but you don’t pay upfront and when the items do arrive the SA will be notified and will let you know).

As to them ordering from H.com for you when you are physically in the store, whilst they do offer this, I have no idea whether this counts towards your spend/relationship with the store or not as you’re not buying from that store’s inventory, but others who know more may be able to advise.

That’s very helpful, thanks a lot

Hello all, I'm new to the Hermes world. I've only ever purchased a pair shoes from Hermes before (not in the UK). I'm new-ish to London and I'll based here for the next couple of years. During that time I hope I'll be able to get a K25. I'm planning on getting either a Kelly Clochette or Kelly bracelet from their fine jewellery section next week. I'm generally interested in getting more from their shoes or jewellery sections.

I would really appreciate any suggestions or recommendations of which store is the most ideal in helping secure a K25. I'm particularly interested in the Hermes store in Harrods... does anyone have any knowledge regarding stock / ease for this store? Also, from what I understand there are a couple different Hermes stores within Harrods; is there a difference in which store I build a relationship in?

Your relationship and purchase profile at any Hermes location (Ground floor leather, Beauty Halls and Femme at Superbrands on First) in Harrods will all be under one account. I think your chances depend more on SA/ SM relationship/ spend and would have unique pros and cons across all the Hermes stores in London. Personally I think Harrods is a challenge only because the customers who shop there can drop huge amounts in one visit.

Harrods is high on the tourist route too

Hey guys! I have a query I’d love your help with….I live in London & have been on the wish list in Bond St for a Birkin for almost one year. Im confused as I see other people (on social media) getting Birkins all the time. I’d love to know, from you lovely bag boffins, what goes on behind the scenes at Hermes & how are bags offered to clients, how are these decisions made? My SA says the wish list is not a guarantee of bag its just a wish ☹️……what is really going on ‍♀️

I too have seen numerous people within last couple of weeks get bags from NBS.
Either your SA isn’t rooting for you as in you don’t matter to them or your wish could be something genuinely difficult to obtain.
I personally never got offered a bag from NBS even thought I purchased items and spent a lot of money. Took me a long time to find a lovely SA . A wish is also only a wish, no guarantee.

Thanks for your reply. My wish isn’t complicated, it literally any colour B, size 25 with GHW. My SA says the demand is high and she has to follow the rules and has to wait for her colleagues (a team at the back) to contact me when or if my wish becomes available. Wish I knew what the allocation system was and what happens ‘round the back’
