I would say just about a year. My first wishlist was placed in September last year.
I only contacted my SA whenever I have a special occasion to celebrate which means I don’t dropped in every now and then to say hi. Though I could as my office is within walking distance. During the lockdown we communicated via WhatsApp and my SA would respond when he is available. He didnt recognize me but he remembered I made an odd order, a pair of rice bowls

I've now spent well over the price of my wishlist bag and have been waiting longer than usual for an offer... About 7 months. I'm trying to manage my expectations in terms of timing and quite frankly starting to wonder whether I'll be offered a bag this year at all!
It also feels like the "2021 bag offers" thread is very light, very few B/K/C offers and these days a Picotin or Evelyn seem like a win. What's everyone else's view / experience on offers this year?

I’m in the same boat as you r.e spend and I’ve been waiting 10 months (onto my second wish). I haven’t really thought too much of it in the last few months as I’ve been enjoying exploring H (particularly homeware!) and not been bothered, however in the past 2 weeks or so it’s started to confuse me a little that I haven’t had any offer despite being now well over 1:1 spend. I don’t at all consider myself entitled to a bag just because I’ve spent and I appreciate production is down and demand is high, but I’m a little reluctant to spend heaps more money without something (I’m not shopping just for a bag but I would really like one). Debating whether my wish is way too specific and I should broaden it or maybe spend what I would have spent on my next purchases on a trip to Paris and try my luck there
Same feeling here, I don't really look forward to going into H as much as before and feel frustrated that my SA is not being transparent. I could see myself spending another £7k in boutique with no offer, and if that were to happen, feel frustrated that I didn't spent that money on a classic flap in Chanel instead!

I’m also in the same boat. I am just coming to the end of my first wish list. I think I will still renew it and hope for an offer. Part of me thought I was “out of favour” with my SA and other people were getting offers. But she is still super responsive to my other requests. Just no sign of a bag and no information on whether they are getting them in or not…
Same here, we may have the same SA! Super responsive to other requests, regardless of how big or small, but no information on chances of a bag. Whereas last year I used to get guidance. And when my pre-spend got high, she'd confirm the type of bag I was after. Now she's reluctant to discuss my wishlist even though I've spent much more and across categories...
Haha it really does sound like my SA. Before she kept confirming what bag I wanted and hinting it was close. And one point she even told me I didn’t need to spend anymore!!! Oh how things have changed!
Which boutique do you visit if you don’t mind sharing? I have experience in NBS London and FSH Paris. The issue with Paris is it’s very difficult to get an appointment at FSH unless you already have an SA there. I think it’s easier at the other boutiques but they have less stock. You don’t need to spend a load though to get offered a bag there but you may not get offered the exact bag you want so you have to be very ‘flexible’ with your options. With the London system - it is seemingly a bit random and very opaque. And you have to wait. But I guess the advantage is you can specify the exact bag you want. The bags I have bought in London I don’t think I would have been able to get in Paris
Same. It’s pretty frustrating. I think I’ve spent 2:1 but then my SO came earlier in the year and I am wondering if some of the spend went to that. Even so, I am at 1:1 and no idea if I’ll get a bag. At my last in store appt, my SA confirmed my wish w me but that was a month ago. If I’d known it was going to be so difficult this year, I’d have changed my wish to an easier one…
Can I ask if you are after ordinary leather or exotic? My SA did mention that they disappointed some clients due to the shortage of croc bags.
I also wanted to share that I've spent slightly over 1:1 at this point although I had an SA leave and had to work with a new one. I'm not too optimistic based on what everyone has said here. It's confusing that they have a wishlist system where some people who barely spend seem to get offers and then those of us who have spent aren't getting offers.
Same!! Or spent less this year to spend next year when (and if) the situation normalises...
