I agree, it doesn’t seems like SAs in london really have a say in what bag you can get. They are more there to act as a point of contact for other items you want to purchase in order to build up a purchase history with a particular store. And also for ALC if they choose to offer it to you.

Ah Ok so if this time you cancelled the wishlist your regular SA had created and set up a new one with the SA that helped you on the day (say, to change from a B to a K), then the SA that helped on the day will be named there and cc’d in the SM email. When you said your regular SA had emailed you in the past to offer quota bags, was this before the wishlist system? And which boutique is this if I may ask? It might make a difference.
No it’s not before the wish list system was created. Last time he emailed me was just before the first lockdown so wasn’t that long time ago.
I’m not sure if it’s worth it to change the wish list back to under my usual SA because I much prefer dealing with him rather than the new one who put down the wish list for me as the new one (although I’ve seen him many times in store so he must be experienced) doesn’t seem to know much about the RTW which I was keen and couldn’t give me any advice. But like you said, if it’s just down to the SM to allocate and SA can’t do much about it other than ALC, then I probably shouldn’t bother and just keep on dealing with the previous SA who knows my style well.

As previously mentioned on the forum everyones experience is very different.
Some get offers quickly with little pre-spend others can wait a lot longer although regular shoppers
Best advice is (from a veteran lover of Hermes) buy what you love, enjoy shopping and see what happens.
If all you want is a quota bag have you considered the preloved market?
No l haven’t ,l would never pay 2-3 retail price for used bag plus l won’t have retail shopping experience ,hopefully l will be offered Birkin at some point .Is it true that Many people get offered these quota bags during Xmas season ?

Perhaps next time you meet an SA that you feel you click with, ask them for their card and arrange future appointments directly?
Yes l asked 2 sa cards and l been shopping all the time as That same store ,so first time l forget to ask sa card ,second time l went in l ask lady card and email her and got automotive response (l am away until may 21 th so contact boutique directly) and third time l went in l made bigger purchase ,get taking to sa and ask his card ,once l come home l email him thanking him for serving me That day and l got no response back ,so really confused and sad
