I waited patiently for my wishlist, and all but given up when suddenly after 9 months I received my HG - a Constance 18 Blue Nuit in Evercolour PHW!

My SA was so generous with his time and knowledge when setting my wishlist (we set it wide on his guidance - neutrals). We had so much fun! He knew I am not a big spender (for me it cannot be about spending ratio). He also knew that I was willing to wait as long as it took and would cherish my bag once received.

Please, please, don't give up!
congrats!!!

This makes me feel better  and congrats!!! Was the colour you got your top choice?

Thank you! Blue Nuit. A lovely blue gray that changes colour depending on the light.

@NYERINLONDON I did not set a specific colour for my wishlist, just that it should be neutral. I wear a lot of navy so Blue Nuit is perfect for me.

Hey ladies. Just wondering what you did when you renewed your wish list. Do you just know that after 8months you will need to go in store and renew. Or did you bring it up via email to your SA first? we haven’t really talked wishlists via email this time round, only ever in store.
Thanks x

Well ‘renewing’ a wishlist is basically setting up a new one, which you can only do in person anyway. You can bring it up with your SA beforehand (like when you arrange an appointment for example). With the wishlist system you can set up a wish with any SA, so it makes it easy even if your SA is unavailable when your wish expires and you want to set up a new one.

They will never really speak about wish list over email or phone. It’s always best to go down to the boutique from time to time. Don’t really have to splurge and spend a bomb but more towards spending on whatever you like and feel comfortable spending on. The more regularly they see you, the more they would remember you and also what you want and like through the conversation. It also shows that you are constantly here to show support and love for the brand rather than just spend one time and they don’t really see you anymore.

Then you would very much seems to be like a tourist that they see once in awhile when they visit London ( which they are very interested in giving b/k to tourists
Not that it’s not possible, but it’s more like they want your visits/ spending to be regular than just once in a while.

It’s like are you more willing to help out a friend who’s always there for you vs someone who’s barely there and appear when they need your help? ( Just to note, I’m giving an example and not directing towards you or anyone )

Hence, I suggest for you to visit the store, speak to your sa and perhaps make some small purchases from time to time whenever you are comfortable and update her about your wish list on what colours/ leather/ hardware you prefer. Better than they get you the old colour that you no longer like.

Whether it will affect your waiting time, it’s totally up to what colours/ size or leather you are want. If you are going for the super popular ones, of course you can’t really expect them to give it to you very soon since there’s probably many customers waiting before you. xx best of luck and hope that helps

Hello Ladies/Gentlemen - has anyone got wind of what the Christmas stock will be like? I’ve been in four times to NBS in the last month looking for a Evelyn 29 for my mother and every time it’s ‘no stock’. I’m holding out hope for the lead up to Christmas, but haven’t heard whether stock is expected to increase or not. Would love to hear from anyone who has any news!

Not sure about bags but there is a ribbon shortage… My latest purchases are still in the orange boxes but the ribbons are now plain brown ones. One SA said Paris stopped sending London the H ribbons ‘due to Brexit’ - I’m 50% sure he was only kidding…

Yes, they are having real issues with packaging at the moment. Ribbons and also paper bags - my few recent purchases came in the plain white bags because the store was out of the organs carriers. On the plus side, stores are getting deliveries of scarves, shoes, etc :)

That gave me a good laugh! Of all the brexit shortages, who knew Hermes ribbons would be hit so hard:giggle:

If I’m to be honest I have to say I much prefer the plain white bags, good to know about the deliveries!
