My friend rec'd an invite but I did not, which is a bit of a surprise. However I used to go pretty regularly to Paris and would say if you are local it is always worth going. I was introduced to some lovely departments through sale items such as hats, gloves, towels and RTW.

Same here, my husband got one, even thought he does not shop there, but me not, even though I buy regularly.

Inbetween moving house and my SA being on her summer holidays I haven’t been shopping in store much. But there always, I repeat, always pretty much a twilly drought in London stores, in my opinion  maybe it’s when I go, but if I don’t specify which twillys I want for my SA to put aside, I can’t just browse and encounter them.

I didn’t receive an invite to the private sale but some people I know who haven’t purchased much before did. Guess it’s just luck of the draw?

Got one…
Went once while I was in Singapore…
Looking forward to see what’s there!
I also received an invite to the London sale. I have attended the sales in Paris a few times so sharing my thoughts here.

Usually, all sale items are 50% off except RTW at 60% off. In terms of stock, I'd say that ready-to-wear, shoes, belts and fashion jewelry are very well stocked, including classic styles such as Orans and CDC bracelets. Sometimes you can spot Avalon styles in the homeware section.
yes I hope to! I have a busy schedule during the week so when they follow with the registration link I will try for that - otherwise might be limited stock left by the Saturday!
Me too! How exciting
Yes, I've only ever been to the Paris ones so looking forward to seeing what stock they have here.

The main thing is what we are going to wear, this is practically an event in itself. (Or shall I start a new thread where we can post goodies as well? )What are you wearing, I ve been so starved of any events… I’m more interested in what to wear than the actual shopping.

Is the private sale usually very busy? Do you have to queue to get in and do you get a specifict date/ time to be there once you register? Has there ever been a private sale in London before or is this a first. I'm hoping it will be better than normal with potentially unsold stock from the Pandemic time
