I decided to switch from Selfridges to NBS (due to the larger store and more stock). My SA was able to cancel my Selfridges wish (that had been there for 6 months) and do a new wish at NBS. So you can always cancel if you want.
why you have make this decision? Do you think the waiting period is shorter ? I have just made a new wish, cause my old wish had expired during the lockdow. Is they anyone get their wish list bag at Selfridges recently? It seems Selfridges very slow to fulfill customers‘ wishlist.

I wanted to shop homeware and mens too and it’s just easier when things are in the shop to see and feel in person. The Selfridges concession felt small. But I’m not sure if wishlist fulfilled quicker at one or the other.

I popped in to see my SA last week for the first time since December. She said they were extremely low on stock and she wasn’t sure if it was brexit or covid related. I managed to put down a wish list but I think given what she said I’m not hopeful on getting anything soon. I asked for a kelly to go a while back and not hear a thing. Are people finding the same story during their visit? Will stock pick up? Xx

I think the situation is the same across London. NBS may have a slight advantage being the biggest store but even that, I'm not too sure. The stocks are extremely low. It's a mixture of Brexit and Covid but 90% more to do with one heck of a mess of customs paper work due to brexit. I've been on the hunt for a Garden Party 30 but some stores, they've never even had one for over a year.

I was told the stores are not getting any further shipments from the SS/21 silk collection and also that there was some sort of problem in the production of the Kelly and Constance to go, that’s why it’s been difficult to find it. I didn’t even bother to renew my wishlist because I realized it would be a waste of time and hope.

Going back into NBS this weekend having made an appointment.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to bring up the topic of communication? It’s will be 2 weeks since my last visit and purchase and my SA doesn’t seem to respond to emails - which is fine if she’d prefer to just speak to me when I come into store and if they are super busy - but I would like to set expectations and try to figure out a method of communication that works for her and me. If it’s not email, then fine but I’d prefer to just know....

“Oh, and I had a few other small items on my list that I’m interested in purchasing over the next couple of months. Would it be easiest if I just email them to you or...?”

I don't see an easy solution to the current situation and what is even less promising is the fact that things are even worse in France. I think you're right not to have renewed your wishlist. I've never heard of this production issue, do you know if this is an ongoing thing?

I've mentioned names in my previous posts which was against the rules (sorry I did not know) but I conclude from many others' input that communication can be an issue at the NBS store. I've also tried emailing my SA many times but I've heard no response at all. There are some SAs who I found much easier to communicate but it's really hit and miss. Did you call the store directly to get an appointment or did you just call the UK customer service number? I've personally never tried that but apparently if you are lucky sometimes they tell you what's in stock as well...?

I've been visiting different stores around lately and I think stocks are the lowest in Selfridges and Harrods (perhaps because they are the most visited?). But in general, stocks are low everywhere across Europe and especially in England. The only places where stocks are not low (I would say even high) are China and South Korea.

Specifically regarding the wallets, whatever it was the issue it’s now solved, which in my opinion doesn’t mean stores will be getting piles of it, but some more than before.

I have the same problem with NBS store lately. They were quite responding last year, I even made virtual purchases. But for the last few weeks, I am requesting the appointment and no luck. So I am assuming that they are busy or they have been asked only to respond to certain clients (just my assumption).

Stock has been extremely low so far this year and my SA wasn’t able to offer anything aside from the ALC. They were expecting some stock upon opening, but no luck. Hopefully it will all get shorted by middle of next month when France comes out of lockdown. We’ll just have to be patient for the time being

It does seems like China and US have better stock level...

Hi! If you don’t mind may I ask which store offered you ALC? I was being told that only the flagship store get the ALC quota as they are not sure whether the orders could all be met ...... thanks a lot!
