I went to the store on NBS today and the lines were quite long. Also walked past Cadogan Pl around 2pm and saw a line around 5 people deep. Always a lovely experience in H though.

Out of curiosity - From your experiences, is it true that Hermes gets deliveries throughout the day or is it just in the morning when they first open? Also, have people had luck with leather goods purchases on Saturdays? I went yesterday (Tuesday) and picked up a Picotin in the afternoon.
About stock, I was told stocks are so low they don’t even know what are they going to be selling in the upcoming days. Also, they are not expecting deliveries of many items.

Yes I've heard the same-Stocks are really low because of the lockdown in France possibly? My friend wanted a wallet and they had one in stock but it had quite noticeable scratches on the inside-there were no more in stock and they were unsure when they will receive any more.
Saw this message and wanted to ask why you recommend this as the best time to go? Do you know if it’s also best to do weekday or weekend? Thanks!
Just in case anyone is interested I was able to get an appointment at the Cadogan Square boutique for tomorrow
I think it maybe a combination of lockdown in France and Brexit, with all the new border control and paperwork. I’ve ordered a customized calvi from H.com and from the moment it was shipped, it took 3 weeks to arrive here. It was from the UK website, but because it was customized it ended up coming from France.
Out of interest (because I wish to order one too) did you have to have to pay extra import tax to receive it or was this factored in?

If you order it on the French website, I would expect that import charges could apply.
